I'm happy for the blowout win for sure, but I saw way too many missed tackles that need to be worked on. Pindell, Buss, and so many other UCONNians were made to look like Houdini with 4, 5 ... 6 missed tackles. That's an area that certainly needs to be tightened up going forward.

Defensive game plan seemed pretty vanilla overall with regards to attacking the ball.

Fair to say Shannon may have not anticipated the offense scoring so fast.

That’s Shannon for you and was a main source of the frustration from Canes fans... everything is generated towards playing not to lose.

Defense will follow a bend don’t break philosophy that hopes teams commit self inflicted mistakes to stop their drives.

This of course works against most teams but is exposed against quality.

We need to stop building up Pindell and making him sound like Flowes, Michael Vick, etc. He’s OK. We missed tackles and that’s all there is to it. We need to clean that up. Interesting to see how he does against Boise
