Target ditches gender labels for kid toys

I know he cares about most anyone with a vagina no matter what their race... but all others, I'm really not sure anymore. He really is starting to make me wonder.
Does it really matter if black people care about whites? You never wanted them around in the first place except as property! Stop pretending you care what blacks think of you. I dont!

Seriously though has anyone ever feared that when they decided to sell pink building blocks would it actually progress to women creating pink buildings?
I know this is a troll but it's lunch time. I'm not sure why race was brought into this either. Anyways, other than the obvious genetic differences between males and females and the inherent differences that they perpetuate, don't you believe that all people were created equal no matter what race they are?
I agree in all people created equal as long as white culture is the order of the land. Can you imagine if that wasnt the case? We'd be looting our own cities every day.

Cliff notes: You can call this a stupid PC move but companies started gender marketing because it increases sales and profits for the same items without really doing anything. Not sure if labeling isles this way will have any effect on their sales since the products will still be marketed at genders, but I suppose it's possible. Target wouldn't have done it to begin with if it didn't have some positive effect on sales, imo. So getting rid of gendered marketing would actually save you money.

Nope, you are so wrong it's not even funny. If you are a smart person you can make educated opinions on kids and how to raise them before you have them. Generally, someone who's opinions change the "day their daughter is born" is a moron who had a ridiculously invalid opinion in the first place. I can't tell you how many people told me "wait till you have kids, you'll change your mind" and I haven't yet, so they said "wait till you have a second" when I didn't change then they finally shut up.
First, I never said that their opinions weren't "valid". What I said was, those that have a problem with it likely don't have children.
I know it's been said a thousand times, but I really wish there was a way to "unlike" a post. So, you're going to lecture me on the value of opinions and then you go and discount someone else's opinion solely based on your what happens in your little bubble. Way to go, winner!
Someone's a moron because their opinions change after having children? That's may just be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard/read - no hyperbole intended. If you aren't intelligent enough to realize that you have opinions, values, beliefs, etc. that change over the course of your life and those changes are most often caused by major life events (like, you know, having a child), then you, sir, are nothing more than an automaton.
I don't have kids so I'm a moron and know nothing but if you have to change your views/lifestyle because you have a kid you should have never had a kid in the first place.
I have opinions on brain surgery but I am not a brain surgeon (too easy of a joke I set up there). So my opinions may be accurate but they are coming from a theoretical not practical point of view.
Once you have kids, your kids and your situation MAY change because now you have practical application of those original opinions.
Sometimes you change because your original opinions were crap.
Sometimes you don't because your opinions were spot on to your situation. Sometimes you don't because you are too self centered to realize that you should change and no I am not talking about anyone here I am talking on the broad scope as I don't know anyone's personal situation.
Raising kids is not a one size fits all thing.
Once you have kids, your kids and your situation MAY change because now you have practical application of those original opinions.

I don't know how you're not getting this.
They're not saying that you HAVE to change your views, they're saying that often your views HAPPEN to change after having kids. Also, they're not talking about your "core values", but rather how you view the other "details" of society once you have kids.
Honestly, despite Sucks' feeble attempt to convince my otherwise, I don't know how your views COULDN'T change after having a child. Your entire world goes from worrying about what you're doing, suddenly, to having to care for another human being and raise it. By definition, the entire center and priority base of your life changes and with it, eventuall, your views. To say otherwise is arguing with the most basic tenants of psychological development in the human brain.
