TVD: 1,721 passing yards - completion % 70.5 - 16 TD - 6 INT - QBR 83.4
Lil General Plumlee: 586 passing yards - completion % 67.2 - 3 TD - 4 INT - QBR 67.2
Timmy McClain: 1,008 passing yards - completion % 63.9 - TD 9 - INT 2 - QBR 62.6
His overall QBR is pretty impressive considering it is only 57 in ACC play and was 30 something in the embarrassing home loss to Georgia tech. Must have had it padded pretty good going in.

Part of the allure of Gus to Arkansas is he is the only coach who is willing to keep the current defensive staff intact. The plan right now is to name Travis Williams as interim head coach, a tag that some suggest could be lifted (as in Williams getting the job permanently which would be a disaster.)
Honestly, Rhett Lashlee (or even GJ Kinne) are better options than Gus IMO. Lashlee because he was a QB there, will come much cheaper, doesn't have the baggage, is relatively young, and tutored under Gus and Sonny Dykes. The Arkansas folks are reluctant about Lashlee because he is the head coach at SMU where they hired away Chad Morris, who was a disaster. Some are mentioning Jeff Lebby, which baffles me.
Kinne would be a good fit in the short term because he would bring Mark Leftwich, who is one of the brightest young offensive coordinators in all of college football.

That is with G5 recruiting tag. Gus recruited his butt off when he got here but most players we were after said we really like UCF but I am a P5 player and went elsewhere. That is life as a G5 program. 2023 we are a P5 program and we are having our best recruiting class in the history of our program. We will see if these higher ranked recruiting classes translate to P5 wins in the future. Comparing UCF's P5 winning record to Miami's P5 wins with P5 recruits is comparing Apples to Oranges.
He knows all this. He is a concerned Miami fan here to deal with his inferiority complex and general malaise about his own program. Makes him feel good to point out the suffering of others
