It looks like Biden is going to end up with 306 electoral votes so you do the math.
Well it looks more and more likely that Trump will win Arizona without a challenge and I don't think NC has enough votes left to tilt left. That basically just leaves PA, and GA or WI so he would really only need to flip 2 states in court. Wisconsin is going to be interesting to watch because they are already going to an automatic recount as will Georgia. It would be interesting to see if the Biden campaign would challenge AZ if this whole scenario played out. I dont think Michigan is really still in play for a court challenge that will make any difference but the voting machine thing might make things interesting.
Out of curiosity, since Biden had the most votes in all three, how does the SCOTUS flip two states to Trump?
PA is different than the other 2. Since their courts extended the date in which ballots can be received every one of those votes could be declared unconstitutional. They also have the issue that state law says that ballot verification is subject to oversight by both (all) parties, and they possibly broke that law so those ballots could be invalidated. Its a technicality, but it is the law. They also had a court order from SCOTUS that said they had to segregate the votes that came in late, and if the polling stations failed to do that the entire vote statewide could be invalidated. Pretty crazy stuff that goes beyond dead people voting or ballot harvesting.
I guess if all you are looking at is whether he wins reelection, probably not. 5% odds at the very best. Looking at the bigger picture though, this needs to be pushed. If he just gives up and there was a bunch of fraud going on it will only encourage more of the same later on by both sides.

In PA Trump is well behind (at least 50k if not more) before counting the late arriving votes. So it would be idiotic to block additional ballots from being counted. How else is he closing the gap. It seemed reasonable if he actually had a lead, but they haven’t even begun counting those yet and he’s way behind.
Its not about closing the gap, its about whether the courts rewrote election laws and whether those votes are "illegal". Which did happen, but its a matter of how SCOTUS remediates it. By constitutional law, state legislatures determine how elections are conducted. In PA, the law says votes have to be received by a certain time but the state courts extended that time. I dont care if it changes the outcome of the election but I do care for the sake of checks and balances.

Trump doesn’t have a chance to stay in office. They aren’t going to disregard people’s voting intentions because poll watchers couldn’t be 6 feet closer during a pandemic. The late arriving votes have no bearing on the outcome. Beyond all that Trump lost by 3 states.

Accountability for future elections. It needs to be established at a federal level that only state legislatures determine election laws, not the courts.
Do you see through this yet? They're not even throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks. They are making arguments that would effectively invalidate every election since we started using mail voting during the Civil War. There is no legitimate goal to win this on the merits - the goal is sew chaos and undermine trust. There is no good faith effort here. He's trying to ride the storm and direct the whirlwind.

Trump's batshit craziness was expected. But if he intimidates enough other Republican leaders -- and the 71 million who voted for him -- we could actually see a serious challenge to the peaceful transfer of power in January. Remember, Trump just fired his Secretary of Defense.
