This has the be one of the biggest criminal cases going back to.... I don't know- the mob?

The the level of corruption by the government, and the ramifications on our privacy and using the internet is mindblowing. Also Russ was found guilty before his actual trial by a trial by the media.

-False charges of murder which were dropped before his actual trial lead to his double life sentence.
-The judge illegally said during his sentencing that believing in Libertarian ideology like free exchange of goods and services is subversive and a danger to society.
-2 corrupt federal agents are in jail for this case for like 7 years
-It seems evidence was collected illegally
-Russ was not able to know about witnesses before his trail
-The evidence against him was ridiculously large for him to have a legitimate defense- billions of pages data.

In the end Russ may be completely innocent. Or he could be completely guilty of running a website were users bought and sold drugs. Holding him accountable for drug distubution would be just like trying hold FedEx's CEO accountable for drugs that we all know get sent through FedEx.

The actual biggest drug dealers got less than 10 years. The biggest meth dealer got 6 years - dropped to 3 years because of the corrupt agents. Yet Russ got double life.

This case is a threat to our privacy and having political opinions. And show just how terrible the justice system can be.
