He's only had 4 losing seasons so far. You could have had a coaching staff consisting of Chip Kelly, Nick Saban, and Urban Meyer and we'd have been lucky to win 2-3 games in 2004. The program was in shambles and he was only hired like 1.5-2 months before recruiting ended. The three other bad seasons consisted of 2QB systems (2006, 2008, 2011). So far 2015 is going to shape up to be the same, due to Holman's injury. When coaches haven't performed, he's gotten rid of them. We'll be much improved next year.
Lol. If we had 100% losig seasons the huggers would blame it on the qb or the scheduling or the attendance or the gatoraide flavor...anything but the football CEO.
And whether we win or lose the UCF radical extremists will blame it all on the coach/AD. That's what radical extremists do. They are never happy or satisfied. Just want radical change. Even Hitt complained about the "yo-yo" in season results. We were all unhappy about it, and GoL was on the hot seat. But now we've had 3 straight seasons of success, and 4 out of the last 5.

Yes, this year is looking like a down year. But if we can pull off a winning season, even if only 7-5, that notches the winning season streak to 4 straight, and 5 out of the last 6. So let the season play out, even if 10 wins are now out of the question.
Furthermore ... this roster is *young*, and that bodes well for another 2 seasons too. Especially if we do finish with 7+ wins.
Could we get a better program by firing GoL et al? Maybe?
Could we get worse? Statistically speaking ... oh yeah, far more likely!

You just don't hand the program over to Key. I honestly could give a **** if George stays or moves to AD. What I do have a problem with is people acting like key has earned a chance to be a head coach. He hasn't and now that UCF is considered to be a top tier min p5 job, you don't hand it over to a guy who has failed upwards.

Very few of us have any love for Key. But just because we want to give Key a full season to prove or disprove his ability, it doesn't mean we agree with Key's promotion. We also recognize GoL wants to promote someone who won't change the program, and we recognize that logic, not that we agree with the choice.

Ok now that that you have been proven wrong in that area let's address your other point. 2014 the offensive line was ranked 111th of d1 schools according to football outsiders. I would explain FEI and SP to you, but unlike K_L who can comprehend such things, you seemingly can't. And before you say well 2013 the line was good, Football Study Hall ranked it 89th. The offense ranks 109th in FEI this year and won't improve even if they try to stat pad it against Furman. Key shouldn't be gifted the job it should be a committee to look at all viable options. If they conclude Key is the best option, which I doubt, fine. But just don't turn it over to him.

Rankings can sometimes be misleading. Our 89th ranked O-Line was good enough to win 12 games that year, including a dominant performance against Baylor.
Or that was Blake getting the ball out fairly early on short to medium passed especially vs Baylor.
Mike, you're great but.....how on earth are we going to be destroying teams next year? We will not win a game this season (good chance of it). You don't go from 0-12 to destroying teams.

When we have long time season ticket holders saying they won't be wasting their time attending---we have problems. Oh, and this isn't just a couple of people.
The longer GOL stays, the more fans and recruits we lose.

Nice to see our fans, especially the newer ones, pull this the second we don't seem to be in contention for the conference title. Way to give up on our student-athletes!
GoL is currently the program, like it or not. That may not be the case in the near future. But "boycotting" the games and making our attendance look poor is not exactly a great way to help the program in return.
A better plan is to attend the games, support the student-athletes and voice your opinion about the leadership. Not attending games doesn't help anything, it only penalizes the student-athletes who already choose to come to UCF.
But then again people were "making excuses" for not attending Senior Day last year, despite us winning the conference. But ... I guess GoL is to blame for that too, eh?!
Maybe you were drinking heavily during the FIU and Furman games because the play calling and performance was really bad. Most fans rightly believe from what we've seen so far that we'll be lucky to win 3 games. You and UCFBS somehow refuse to acknowledge that or acknowledge there's something very wrong with the offense.
There is a lot to be positive about. However, fair weather fans can't see this they just bail on their team and players after and 0-3 start.

Like it or not, people will find other activities to do--rather than see us get beat up by bottom of the barrel teams.
