You really want UCF to lose everything don't you?Weak troll. Stinky bait. You have been hanging out with lobo too much.
You certainly made up that probability crap......hint, all the teams summed probabilities should add up to 100%KJ Jefferson Next School Odds: Top Landing Spots For Arkansas' Star QB

TCU+20033.3%
UCF+35022.2%
In terms of finding a place where he’s welcomed with open arms and handed the keys to a potential juggernaut offense, we don’t see a better fit than TCU.

But hey I just make stuff up on here...
Well, I told you he was going to TCU when 247 sports was listed his transfer destinations as South Carolina, UCF, Miami, and Mississippi State. You certainly made up that probability crap......hint, all the teams summed probabilities should add up to 100%
You need to separate the odds from the probability
Meh, no big deal either way.....TCU can have him

I was about to post about him. Seems like the prototypical Gus guy
"Pavia was the 2023 Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year. Pavia was instrumental to New Mexico State’s ten-win season this past season. The product out of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed for 2,973 yards, completing 60.4 percent of his passes, rushed for 923 yards on 176 attempts, and recorded 33 total touchdowns (26 passing TD, 7 rushing TD)."

New Mexico State Aggies quarterback Diego Pavia has entered the transfer portal with a strong possibility of landing at a new school in 2024.collegefootballnetwork.com
Is anyone else getting weary of Gus Guys?I was about to post about him. Seems like the prototypical Gus guy
No, the crystal balls on 247 were just pointing in that direction....strange fit for Ohio St though.
Don't worry AL has you covered for posting about players...Here is a stat that shows how bad we are in the portal:
2 years ago - Landed 4 players who were in the top 10 of their position group
Last year - Landed 1 player who was in the top 10 of his position group
This year - Yep, you guessed it.....not even close on a single one
I stopped even trying to post info on guys that could help us since it is obvious we don't want to use it to find starters.
He did seem out of his element in this scheme, but man, that just reduces the d-line depth even moreCeliscar entering transfer portal too apparently. Another scholarship and spot freeing up. He was so slow and unproductive at that spot. Malachi should have been playing and starting all season over him.
He looked so good as a freshman too.Josh Celiscar 0 sacks as starter.
Malachi Lawrence 7.5 sacks as backup.

Time for recruited players to get into our 2-deep. This will be the fairest way to see if Gus and his coaches know what they are doing.
I agree. I don't know why UCF didn't rotate its DL and WR corps more, especially earlier in the season when the wide receivers weren't blocking a lick. I have not been impressed with Grant Heard.Sidenote: The rotation of players seemed out of whack this season (ie. WR and DL) Crazy inconsistent play by DL would have benefited by a more consistent rotation scheme. By sticking with the same WRs for most of the game are they really using all the talent and getting more experience at that position?)
FIFYsince it is obvious we don't want to use it to find SCRUBS like Chandler Morris.
Yeah, but he sucks at it....Don't worry AL has you covered for posting about players...
You know that someone's personal vendetta is more important than improving the team when they alter a quoted post.....sad and patheticFIFY

Same with my mentions about Morris....as weak as the portal is now at that position, he couldn't break into the top 6.
Just joshing ya.
Gus is not going after small fries and average half pinters.Same with my mentions about Morris....as weak as the portal is now at that position, he couldn't break into the top 6.
Somewhat of a shocking stat...are we comparing apples to apples?Josh Celiscar 0 sacks as starter.
Malachi Lawrence 7.5 sacks as backup.

Not remotely. Celiscar was in on early downs to stop the run (which he didn't). Lawrence was in on pass rushing downs to sack the QB. Lawrence had only 10 tackles.Somewhat of a shocking stat...are we comparing apples to apples?
WRs and TEs must be above average blockers for Gus’ scheme to work. When we beat Auburn, our CBs blew up practically every WR screen for a loss.Today's news saddens me. I hate seeing Alec Holler move on after applying for and receiving an extra year only to declare for the NFL draft days after his sixth-year announcement. While he was one of the worst blockers in the NCAA, he did actually attempt the block the correct defender. I would rather see him stay on as a student assistant next year with the option to join the team should the need arise. If he doesn't sign with an agent, he may be able to do that.
I feel bad for Josh Celiscar. UCF changed defensive schemes and Celiscar clearly did not fit the new philosophy. Losing him sucks no matter how you slice it. I would have preferred that UCF bulked him up and moved him inside to defensive tackle (like Anthony Montalvo) where he could have rotated with Lee Hunter, Ricky Barber, John Walker, Derrick LeBlanc, and Matthew Alexander. He could have bounced out and played DE in a pinch when needed.
He was most effective against G5 competition. So hopefully, he gets picked up by an upper-tier G5 program like Florida.
Grant Stevens is the only Class of 2022 signee who is still on the team and who hasn't played a lot of snaps. He was a backup plan for Ty Washington, who committed to Arkansas. Ty appeared in 9 games and caught 11 passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns this season.
I agree. I don't know why UCF didn't rotate its DL and WR corps more, especially earlier in the season when the wide receivers weren't blocking a lick. I have not been impressed with Grant Heard.
Good point. Auburn had nothing to prove.Maybe it was just that they “weren’t motivated” to win and weren’t really trying their best.
My guess is both. The scheme part scares me the most because pushing Celiscar out means UCF is likely to run this year's scheme next year.Yeah, Celiscar just wasn't the same player this season. I don't know if the lack of production was due to a different scheme than what he played in earlier in his UCF career, or whether it was a jump up in competition (or a combination of both)? But he was just noticeably a step or two slow out there all season (playing through an injury perhaps?)...
He fits what they want to do along the Dline better than Celiscar. I personally don't like the new scheme, but it is sexy for recruiting DL. Plus, you can use smaller guys like Lawrence and Nixon at DE if they are just running around blocks.I agree that Lawrence looked like the more explosive player this season, but he was also primarily utilized in pass rush situations. Will he be able to play the run on the edge, or is he just a specialist/situational guy?
Saw that, he wasn't even confident enough to put a crystal ball on it though as it depends on several current un-committed players ahead of him (Ward, DJU, Nelson, etc).
