Please don’t say that about Gus the offensive genius!🤣Cincy is calling plays that we need to be calling. We have no creativity
Gus needs to be told the portal is closed to him. Back to the days when you recruited and coached players.Don’t worry. Guys’ll find a great QB on the portal to lead us back to glory!
That was the big takeaway for me. We need an offensive overhaul. Maybe TM will talk to him next about that. Baby steps? This offense is not good. No matter who you trot out there , points don’t happen. Oh a guy fumbles, let’s give him the ball again right away so he can fumble again.
Refs were iffy but it evened out. They made calls against them too that weren’t penalties. Not even close to why we lost. Just aren’t good on offense.I just finished the first half on dvr. Yup, beat ourselves. The defense played great though. Refs weren’t all that bad. A few missed calls but it doesn’t appear nefarious.
Where the program was? You mean a high-flying offense led by a stud QB?Gus 1000% should be fired. It's pathetic, after where our program was, that we are at a point where it's time to start from scratch.

I might believe that if he hadn't always run that kind of offense.Where the program was? You mean a high-flying offense led by a stud QB?
What program wouldn’t want that? Why do you think Gus revamped the O to a running attack for the Big XII? Could it possibly be that in this NIL era, Malzahn knew UCF didn’t have the resources to compete with the Big Boys to retain or attract stud QBs like Dillon Gabriel? Some fans here are as clueless as they claim Gus is.
Yeah, I mean the 2 fumbles...ugh...you almost couldn't make that up! Salt in the wound. We got off to a shaky start thanks to TWO gift-wrapped fumbles--the second one was really tough. But the defense stepped up and held them to a FG.
I thought we'd have it once we tied the game up in the second half. This was a tough one to lose. But, in the end, we beat ourselves.
Yeah but even during the spring game as I watched KJ just throwing into double coverage I was wondering what was going on. Then his lethargic play, I was shocked that this was supposed to be the second coming of Daunte Culpepper.Where the program was? You mean a high-flying offense led by a stud QB?

This is reminding me of GOL final year. We played Houston at home. Our sideline alo the players and coaches were just standing there. UH was jumping up and down, yelling , having fun. This years team is boring.I feel like that was some of the most deflating football I've ever watched. Just lazy, going through the motions, checked out football.

To be honest, I was very impressed with Brown at QB. He passed for over 200 yards and a touchdown through the air and 84 yards on the ground without, I might add, turning the ball over.Yeah but even during the spring game as I watched KJ just throwing into double coverage I was wondering what was going on. Jacurri is fast, tall, is a QB. He needs playing time and coaching. He's a lot better than KJ.To be honest, I was very impressed with Brown at QB. He passed for over 200 yards and a touchdown through the air and 84 yards on the ground without, I might add, turning the ball over.
Given the situation, he looked damn good to me last Saturday.Jacurri is fast, tall, is a QB. He needs playing time and coaching. He's a lot better than KJ.
