This team is ready for the Big 12...no defense...it will fit right in...
Game over. If we had a secondary we might have won this. Also Plumlee wasn't at full speed. A lot closer than I thought the way it started.
Fire T-will after the game... this is a disgrace
Still say a lot is on "Stubborn Gus." He is beginning to remind me of O'Dreary more and more each game.

These same sucky DBs have been 3-year starters. They all need to go.
Well maybe Plumlee will be healthy against Toledo in the Nobody Cares Bowl.
I remember them effing up during the heupel era. They are conplete trash, especially thorton. We need to start our freshmen in whatever crap bowl we go to
Coaches like Gus need to play with a lead. Still the defense really sucked and our supposedly great O-line was just pedestrian many times.
Folks, we can't blame this on TWill or Gus.

Dude this absolute crap top to bottom OC needs to hit the bricks DC needs to be put on short leash people need to be held accountable and Gus is at the top.
Tim McClaine should be in the mix at QB for next season. I wish we had a taller QB that can really pass with just average speed. I think TC is too short and his passing skills still are in question.
3 turnovers for Tulane and they still put up 600 yards. Absolute trash team defense with NO talent and NO coaching. Bad combination
Gus was banking on having JRP as a running QB to carry us through the season. The plan would have worked but he didn't develop a plan B since he agreed to have Mikey limited to 4 games.
T will needs to go unfortunately. Unacceptable defense

Give me Josh Celiscar and Jason Johnson on the Defense next year. Open season for the other 9 positions.
Many games were a disgrace for our defense this year. We NEVER adjusted to stop the short passes all season long.

Let's look at all our deficiences. 1) No secondary 2) poor kick returns 3) terrible open field tackling 4) poor pass rush 5) Poor pass protection. 6) Low completion percentage...etc. I'm sure you can name other things.
I pretty much agree. I also like TMB, Barber and Lee Hunter. But please bring in some faster stronger LBs and some DBs who can cover and tackle.
Gus has had 2 years so far, with the same results. Year 3 really begins with his players. His offense is dated and can’t adjust when behind. His defensive coach is clueless. Our first few years in the BXII are going to be very painful. Can you picture this team against TCU? KState?OkState? Bloodbaths. Without a separate OC his offense will stay the same, ala Auburn but without the benefit of incoming highly ranked players initially. By year 5 the Gus Bus may be showing a lot of damage.
I believe we can compete in the Big12.

Eh regardless of what happened in this game I expected to miss a bowl next year. Keeping my expectations low, even 6-6 next year I'll be happy.
