A220-300 (Bombardier CS300) early maintenance issues (Breeze Airways)

Just got hit with a maintenance delay on my inbound flight for the game this week. This A230-371 isn't even a year old yet, but we've got a maintenance delay.

Trying to find out if it's the P&W geared turbine, or the landing gear pins. Although it could be something minor too, it's been 90 minutes.

Sole source engine, no other option, and it's been common enough P&W has had parts supply issues.

Scott Frost: UCF vs Nebraska - an interview with The Athletic's Mitch Sherman.

With Scott Frost returning to UCF, we caught up with Mitch Sherman, who covers Nebraska for The Athletic.

Sherman provides some insight on Frost's tenure at Nebraska, specifically examining how things went wrong in Lincoln.

Will Frost be successful again as he returns to UCF, Sherman thinks there are some reasons why this could be a better fit.

*****Knights we lost in 2024*****

This is the annual thread so we could honor fans, players coaches and anyone else lost during the year. New Years is a time of hope and looking forward so let’s take a moment to recognize those lost.

I can update this post with names. Mention whoever you’d like, even if they’ve already been mentioned.

I’ll start by honoring @CancerSuckswhose post in 2022 gave me the idea to start this. Her post was a gut wrenching reminder how being kind to one another matters.

OT - JetBlue and Frontier status match and UCF travel

In case any of you are AA or Delta medallions, Frontier airlines, among others, is offering a status match based on your current elite status. I'm Platinum with Delta and got matched to their top level through December 2024. You do have to pay $149 for the match but I think it's worth it if you want to fly them for the next year whether it's for a UCF game or personal travel.

It gives you everything for free after you buy the ticket, including extra room seats, baggage and all other things you'd normally be charged for. I checked the R/T from MCO to CVG for the Cincinnati game and they're only $76 going up Friday and back on Sunday. I also compared a flight I've got to the CES in January and the R/T is only $176 for the nonstop flights versus $550 on Delta.

Frontier status match

Edit title and thread to add that I also matched to JetBlue Mosaic 3. Gives you status through the end of the year and if you get their credit card it runs through 2024. I just upgraded my seats to Costa Rica in May for free.

SUNDAY: UCF Knights welcome the Kansas Jayhawks to Orlando

The UCF Knights Men's Basketball team is preparing to open their home Big 12 slate when they welcome Kansas to Addition Financial Arena on Sunday, January 5th.

The Knights upset Kansas last season at home, but they know they'll have to play at their best if they want a chance to do it again.

OT: Birthday

I never post this kind of stuff on here, but if you have a Twitter please go to the original post from momma and tell George Happy Birthday.

He is one of the most passionate UCF fans I have ever heard of going to as many games for all sports/events as he can make it to. He is on the spectrum and absolutely LOVES our university. To make his 16th birthday a bit more memorable, just go say a kind thing and wish him a happy birthday. You do not know how much such a simple thing can bring joy to someone like him.
