OT: Stretch of I-4 near attractions has worst congestion in the nation

Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who drives this stretch. Doesn't really matter what time of day you drive, there's almost always congestion.

Men’s Basketball Transfer Portal Open Thread

Unfortunately, it looks like Coach Dawkins and his staff will once again be turning over a significant portion of their roster next season.
T. Hendricks - NBA
I. Horton - Graduation? Possibly coming back?
C.J. Kelly - Graduation
J. Young - Transfer Portal
B. Suggs - Graduation & Transfer Portal
M. Durr - Graduation
L. Thioune - Transfer Portal
T. Freeman - Graduation & Transfer Portal
P. J. Edwards - Transfer Portal

(C. J. Walker will be back after missing this season due to injury, and Tyler Hendricks redshirted last season).

That’s a lot of work UCF has to do in the portal just to put together a rotation. I’m thinking they need to bring in 4-5 transfers.

We can keep track of it all here.

UCF Knights DB Ladarius Tennison: "We want to have a physical defense."

The UCF Knights defense added a veteran presence with defensive back Ladarius Tennison. With four years of experience in the SEC, Ladarius brings a ton of experience to the back end of the UCF defense, which features a lot of young talent.

OT: 2024 NBA Draft tonight 🏀

First round tonight, second round tomorrow night. I wonder what kind of interest there will be in that. This isn't supposed to be a great draft overall.

As for Big 12 connections, ESPN mock has Baylor's Ja'Kobe Walter going No. 14 to Portland, Kansas' Johnny Furphy to the Magic at No. 18 and Baylor's Yves Missi at No. 21 to New Orleans.

OT Something to Stand For

Hey Yall:
Mike Rowe is releasing a movie of American history and stories this weekend. I have heard his podcast and interviews. It looks to be a well done story of our country and highlights stories of brave men and women who sacrificed to make us a great country. It's very purposeful in it's release around the Independence Day. I am going to see it. I hope many here do as well.
