Around The Kingdom - Where did all this money come from?

Join Eric Lopez and Trace Trylko as they debate some of the current topics surrounding UCF Athletics.

In this episode, the guys talk about the current litigation with the NCAA, which will see billions of dollars change hands and potentially change college athletics forever.

Plus, will this significantly hurt the walk-on program at most schools? And, as the portal has officially settled, did UCF come out better than expected?

Also: Softball suffers a heartbreaker, baseball barely survives round 1, the Big 12 will play 20 games in hoops, and Trace erases a moment of history.

NOTES: UCF sits at 84 or 85 scholarships (40 offensive, 41 defensive, 4 special teams) with one or none remaining to issue. ... UCF will target an EDGE or do whatever Gus wants to do at this point because he is making the rules up as he goes.

UPDATE: Gus could place Agiye Hall on scholarship.

Something about this bracket looked a bit queer ....

NEW FRIDAY: Kardiac Knights Ride Again in BIG 12 Tournament

Defeat Oklahoma State in extras to advance

They just can’t make it easy on us, can they?

After battling and grinding out a grueling four-plus hour, 11-inning victory on Tuesday night, the Knights once again found themselves deadlocked late in an exhausting battle, this time against the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Due to the game between Texas Tech and Cincinnati going long [Red Raiders eliminated the Bearcats, 10-5 on Thursday – Cincinnati, as it were, eliminated the Texas Longhorns on Wednesday], the Knights and Cowboys had to wait until 10:15 PM [eastern] to start this contest.

Rayniah Jones x Women’s track and field national championship bound again

Rayniah Jones is one of my favorite Knights of all time and I think needs to be seriously in consideration for one of the UCF athletic goats.

She has done things here that is scratching Olympic level talent and with the lack of a male track team is seriously having UCF standout in that world.

Plus she has a welcoming smile and represents us the right way, never a bad word from her and she seems very proud to be a Knight. Her NIL commercial was tasteful as well
