Commanders are moving to the old site of RFK Stadium and the new stadium will be a fome with a glass roof, to allow the Capital.and DC viewable from a lot of the seats.

Obviously, with a Dome, it can jump in the Final Four rotation (as it's been since 1996 that the Final Four was in the Northeast...as that was also the last year the Final Four was played in a basketball arena and not a dome as the then Nets Arena in the Meadowland hosted it that year).

Of course year-round concerts and orher events will be held there as well.

Just had a bad dream last night we were playing our opener against FSU at home.

The stadium was packed with FSU fans and our student section was empty except for a few UCF fans and more FSU fans.

FSU scored on the first series. We then scored but it got called back and was getting sad.

Then when I woke up I realized it was all bullshit- TTT would have scheduled us to play at Doak….

We should hire UCF HAll of Famer Stephanie Best to replace her. She runs a local softball training facility called Pro Swings and has groomed many high level softball recruits that sign with schools all over.

D2 Limestone just dropped football. He was a teammate of DJ Black.

Tonight's play-in game will be on TNT so for many of you, it will be one of the few times you have been able to see them today.

If the Magic lose tonight, they will host another play-in game on Friday night against the #9 vs #10 winner, which will be do or die.

PS. Must be a HUGE game tonight as Bianchi is even willing to get dress and leave his condo to show up on a media pass tonight.

I think expectations anytime you’re coming off of 4-8 season and have a coaching change have to be pretty tempered. But I can’t remember another time since I’ve been a fan where I felt this clueless about our team. Certainly there were times I had strong feelings that turned out to be completely wrong, but this year… I’m excited to see the play calling on offense but I have absolutely no clue about the roster itself.

Cincinnati made the Mamadou N'Diaye hire official so I tweeted the "rest of the story." The text:

UCF assistant coach Mamadou N'Diaye shopped himself and star center Moustapha Thiam to schools during the season, all the while still employed by UCF, sources say.

N'Diaye insisted the duo were a package deal as N'Diaye's family runs the Flyingstar Academy in Senegal which helped facilitate Thiam's development and brought him to the U.S.

N'Diaye demanded an above-market coaching salary, guaranteed for two years, which most schools passed on. Cincinnati agreed to pay N'Diaye's $1.6M demand (in addition to the $2M+ NIL for Moustapha).

Cincinnati, a proud basketball program, has not made the NCAA Tournament since 2019.

The seat is warming for UC head coach Wes Miller, who got a huge influx of NIL money this year in a last-ditch effort to turn things around. Thiam is considered a big piece to help doing so and hiring N'Diaye is the cost of doing business.

Cincinnati chose to delay the announcement of N'Diaye's hire for a week because of "optics."

Pretty wild to me that KZ basically coached him up while he went through nearly the same thing. Large bummer, I wonder if he will be in KZ's ear about coaching.

The UCF Knights Baseball team broke a losing streak by winning a mid-week contest over the UNF Ospreys, 9-3. Now for head coach Rich Wallace, the next challenge becomes taking this momentum into the conference weekend series.​
