***Updated: ECU S Jireh Wilson commits to UCF***

We could hear news soon from East Carolina defensive player Jireh Wilson. He has played both safety and linebacker throughout his ECU career and has been a starter for the last three seasons. Should have one year left of eligibility.

Wilson entered the portal on Dec. 29 and has tweeted offers from WVU, Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Boston College, Baylor and Kansas. He hasn't posted any new offers though since Dec. 31 as his socials have gone quiet since then.

OC...

Closing out the year with a new OC would be nice.

A lot of good possibilities in this list. Personally, I like hiring within the staff because I'm tired of guys bouncing around in the OC and DC
positions so have a sense that there might be more loyalty to Gus if we did this which we have done for DC.

I know it's a long shot but would love for Gus to take a chance on KZ for QB coach and keep him in town since we lost the opportunity
to keep Kevin Smith in town in the past with an RB coach offer.

OT: Free 9/11 Never Forget Exhibit by Tunnel to Towers at UCF thru Jan 14th

Some may have seen the trailers set up yesterday by the side parking lot of the NW corner of the Football Stadium (by soccer practice field).

This free exhibit will be up thru Jan 14th as they are also title sponsors of the Hula Bowl Game.

Note: They have a special tux deal for $15 in the Cabana Club area that includes one free premium cocktail.

***UF WR transfer Trent Whittemore commits to UCF***

I guess this one shouldn't be a huge surprise: Trent Whittemore, the son of former UCF WR Mark Whittemore (who recently retired from HS coaching in Gainesville).

Whittemore saw a bit of action during his last three years at UF.

A local product of Gainesville (Fla.) Buchholz, Whittemore enrolled at Florida as a wide receiver in 2019 after playing safety, cornerback, wide receiver and quarterback in high school.

In glimpses throughout his 2020 and 2021 campaigns, Whittemore showed promise as a possession pass-catcher by compiling 29 receptions for 338 yards and two touchdowns. He also completed three-of-four passes for 41 yards and two touchdowns in that stretch.

However, injuries shortened both of those seasons and limited Whittemore to just 17 appearances offensively.

New (2022) Jerseys on sale

Forgive me if this has been posted but I have not seen the new Jerseys available for sale until today. Go figure dicks beat UCF to it

$100+ is spicy when the space game unis could be had via fanatics for like $65 but with ucf’s trash merch pipeline this may be the only time we can ever buy them lol

@dali drama no name on the back your honor is safe bb

Pedialyte infringing on UCF trademark?

I'm sitting in a restaurant and there's a TV on Weather Channel. Glanced and briefly saw a screen that said "Charge On" and a guy sitting in a darkened room.

I thought it said Pedialyte and found the commercial:

But nothing at the end about Charge On. Then I found this on Google image search. It appears they took a 2017 commercial and recently added Charge On at the end.

The SEC... It just means more (LSU related)

I have to share this with you guys. A rumor is circulating on Twitter about an apparent sex orgy at an LSU party prior to the SEC Championship Game.

FYI, the alleged include the wide receivers coach, the director of recruiting, the on-campus recruiting coordinator (a female), and the associate director of player personnel, along with Boutte of course.

It's Boutte to get ugly!

With the encouraging Hamlin news I am excited to see the NFL playoff picture unravel. My New York Football Giants are surging and have a lameduck matchup with the Eagles this weekend.

Reminds me of 2007 playing Brady Week 16.

Undoubtedly the Bills have a story building for an incredible run.

Jax and Tennessee play for the division Saturday night.

Those old man Brady with a new tackle box win his first Super Bowl as a Sucio Boy?

49ers could sit atop the NFC for an overall seed.

What storyline are you most excited about?
