Texas is the only program with a rush defense ranked in the top 50. Gus will have a field day in the new league.

As we circled the drain to end this frustrating season, I'm thinking .500 is about the result we can look forward to as we step up next year.

PS. The Duke LB #35...who had a delayed read and just FLEW thru the line...was previously in the Ivy League at Columbia for 4 years (graduated in mechanical engineering) before transferring to Duke to play in his final season.

With the discussion about how the oline has regressed and oline recruiting has been mehhhhh, is it time for Hand to go? Especially with a new oc coming in who probably doesn’t want a shive and have his qb get blasted every game. Let’s look at the positives and negatives:

Positives-
oline is good at run blocking for the most part
He is able to get players from the portal
He can cook?
Knows Gus and the system

Negatives
Portal players have been hit and miss
Got humiliated on national tv multiple times
Knows the system too well especially with a new oc coming
Lines regressed
Has no idea what max protect is

Only took 2 quick pauses of live TV to sync up the radio call for yesterday's game.

The best one liner from yesterday came when the sideline judge on the UCF side early in the game was so far out of position that he marked 2 UCF plays at least 2 yds short of where the Knight was tackled.

On another play by that sideline later in the first half...when the linesman was no where near where the player went down, Marc chimed in jokingly with:

"If this ball isn't marked at least by the 19, an investigation should be started."

Marc, Gary and Scott Adams do a real good job and as someone else who mentioned how listening to games on the radio was the only way to hear (or see) UCF games...they do add so much to the broadcast.

Also...for those sick of 3 min and 20 sec cltv commercial breaks...radio normally takes about half that break so the 3 on radio are already breaking down scenarios or giving updates from the sideline...all while those only watching on TV are probably hearing about ANOTHER CFP ESPN commercial.

I got a Flat Black Riddell mini helmet for Hanukkah. I would like to get some signatures on it next year during one of the fan events. What would be the best thing to use to write on a Black helmet.
