So what happened to the "UCF to Eliminate The Kingdom" thread?

Lawknight posted the following article and now the whole thread disappeared. What's up?
https://ucf.forums.rivals.com/threads/ucf-to-eliminate-the-kingdom.121019/

It referenced this shabbily written SI article which reported:
- "they will assume direct leadership of their revenue to enhance NIL deals"
- "UCF will now benefit from its student-athlete deals."
- "without a collective, UCF's recruiting momentum would come to a stop, giving athletes less incentive to join the Knights"
https://www.si.com/fannation/name-i...r-school-to-eliminate-nil-collective-program-

This opens a shed-load of questions as I thought it was pretty well established that universities could not direct NIL funds. This article sounds incriminating. Is that why it was taken down?

Big 12 playing itself out of the CFP???

At the time of this post:
- #14 BYU is losing 14-0 to #21 Arizona State
- #16 Colorado is losing 17-7 to Kansas

Army is ranked #19 and plays #6 Notre Dame tonight. Boise State is ranked #12 with games against Wyoming and OSU left.

If BYU and Colorado both lose today, and Army beats #6 Notre Dame I feel like it creates a probable situation where the Big 12 Champion is ranked below SEC, ACC, B1G, and AAC/MWC champions + not ranked high enough to get an at large bid.

How long is too long?

To make an announcement on the future of Gus/this football team?

Florida made an announcement on their plans with Billy Napier and in that short time frame their recruiting has already picked up momentum.

The landscape of college football has changed. Early signing day is two weeks away and our class is in shambles. Doesn't seem like we have any momentum anywhere since many think Gus is a lame Duck. So if he is a lame duck and we plan on getting rid of him in the offseason, why not just pull the plug now. Let the new coach get a head start especially if he's already on the current staff.

But if they do plan on keeping Gus, why not clear the air and address it too potentially give us a boost in recruiting. Everyday that goes by seems like it is just going to make things worse. Wouldn't it benefit us to make a decision sooner rather than later?

OT: Anyone on Bluesky?

Who are good follows on there? I just got on:

Add me - my issue with these upstart networks is you can't easily import the people you follow elsewhere.

I don't have invite codes yet but will issue them once I can.

edit: before ppl ask - bluesky is a new social network launched by the twitter founder after he left https://buffer.com/resources/bluesky-social/
