I’m on a cruise and want to watch the games tonight and need some help using a VPN. I’ve got free Wi-Fi on the ship and tried watching the games yesterday on the ESPN app but got the out of area error message so I tried using my VPN and got the unable to use a VPN error message. Is there any way around these issues or am I gonna be stuck following the scores on Twitter? Thanks

There was some back and forth in the Dungeon about disinformation and the Russians and how we have been scammed. We see debate today as bad . Just look at COVID and the pandemic. If you dare ask a question you're MAGA wearing KKK neanderthal white supremacists. Some have hinted at putting limits on the First Amendment. Social media sites censor stuff which they think is disinformation. Distrust is every where from all sides and it is largely because we injected politics into it all especially things dealing with science and health.

We are losing trust in our institutions because we can no longer have a rational debate and debate the merits and ideas without the poison of personal attacks and politics constantly being injected into the discourse. It will be our downfall if you ask me. We need to be able to be openly skeptic ,have reasonable disagreement and do so without tearing down the other side constantly.. if we continue to isolate and marginalize one another it just splits the chasm wider and wider and fuels distrust while appealing to our base tribal instincts .

I am curious though . Here are two articles regarding food and they contradict each other . Which one is disinformation? Which one needs to be silenced and removed from the internet?

UCF MBB hosted a player from Canada on an official visit this past weekend:

6-foot-11 center Jeremy Foumena, a Quebec native who plays at Orangeville Prep (also in Quebec).

Foumena actually played at Central Pointe Christian Academy in Kissimmee last season before returning to Canada.

He's not listed in any database (Rivals or 247), but here's a recent scouting report from Phenom Hoop Report:

BYU is obviously joining the Big 12 in 2023 and Liberty is headed to C-USA.

UCF has only one game for 2023 - at Boise State. BYU is there now but will fall off due to the Big 12 move.

So I just renewed my season tickets and relocated to the Gold and Black Cabanas. I was just coming on here to see what people had to say from their experiences in the cabanas. Are they as good as advertised?

Also, is the resell market hot for these if I can’t make it to one or two games ?

Looking ahead to 2023..... UCF is scheduled as a host school @ Amway Center for first round action.

As a UCF Donor, are we traditionally given and preference for seating and tickets?

Wow, Cincy with 8 guys in the Top 150. Will definitely be tough to replace that production. Also glad to see SMU lose some talent, especially that TE who dominated us last year.

Lol, this had me in stitches.

Bellarmine can’t play in the NCAA tournament because it is only thier second season in D1 basketball?!?!? They have to wait two more seasons before they could get in!?!?!?

Who the **** made that a rule? A group of people sat in a room and thought this was such a good thing to do, they voted to implement it. This is just the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of. Even dumber than UNC getting no sports sanctions for having student-athletes basically cheat their way out of classes for an entire decade. I’m livid.

Please someone tell me I’ve missed something because I’ve looked and can’t.

2. OL Depth - Good starting 5, concerned about guys 6-8

DEFENSE

1. Linebacker - Hope Lewis is 100% and we get contributions from Cupit, Mosier & Joyce (I assume McDaniel will play a hybrid position, not pure LB)
2. DT Depth - Can't have too many run stopping big men, especially with what should be a vastly improved secondary putting more emphasis on run defense

The T-Will special

I was taken off guard by the Alumni Association asking for ideas for a "Spirit Symbol" I'm not sure what that is. My UCFriend years ago mentioned to me that if UCF ever did a hand symbol it should be the Sign Language symbol for "K" for Knights. It's simple. Easily could be mistaken for a peace sign that would help us weed out t-shirt bandwagoners. I'm not sure if we need one.
