Question about season tickets - can I split them with another family?

Hey guys

sorry- first post here. If this isn’t the appropriate forum LMK and I will delete

I’m looking at becoming a season ticket holder for 2022 season. My buddy (also UCF alum) and I have been talking about buying 4 season tickets in the tower area and splitting them. We live in DC so neither of our families can get to more than one or two games a year. We’ll just donate the unused ones

Is there a mechanism where we can split the tickets? Buying 2 and 2 side by side? Has anyone tried to do this?

I just learned about priority points; my thought was to buy 4 and just have him pay me back but that would kind of screw them over.

Again sorry if this isn’t a good forum to ask this. I called the ticket office a few weeks ago and they weren’t really committal one way or the other, and didn’t want to talk about much until they were done with renewals. appreciate any insight from anyone who has tried to do this in the past.

Rule change to end fake sliding

Kenny Pickett’s fake slide that earned him not only a 59-yard TD run against Wake Forest in the ACC CCG, but a good deal of notoriety for his ingenuity on the play. The NCAA has issued a new interpretation that will in essence ban the fake slide from ever happening again, making it a dead ball at the point of the beginning of the slide.

Invoices For Bowl Tickets and Next Years Tickets

In case anybody was wondering/worrying like I was as to what happened to next years season ticket invoice. It seems there is a glitch in the system and it can only show one open invoice at a time. Therefore if you ordered bowl tickets that is the one showing and you can not view your invoice/ tickets for 2022. Supposedly once the bowl ticket is paid (tomorrow) then it will moved to the paid invoices and you will once again be able to view your 2022 season tickets invoice. I was very concerned that somehow my 2022 season tickets had gotten screwed up. Anthony assured me that everything is OK.

KOT: Brandon Wimbush on Andy Staples podcast.

Didn’t realize he had his own NIL company. Is he around the program at all?

Andy, from Las Vegas attending the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame events, catches up with ex-Notre Dame QB and MOGL co-founder, Brandon Wimbush. But before cutting it up with Brandon, Andy, Kevin Warren, and Bob Bowlsby, among other commissioners, share their thoughts about an expanded CFP. What kinks need ironing out? Is a 12-team format more likely than an 8-team? Afterward, Brandon joins the podcast to discuss his company, MOGL, whose mission is to connect athletes and companies with NIL deals. Brandon chronicles his business' rise as well as how he's helping athletes earn what they're worth. The duo also discuss Brandon's time as Notre Dame's quarterback and the future of the Fighting Irish under Marcus Freeman. Plus, Brandon shares his thoughts on Brian Kelly's departure from South Bend, his experience in the transfer portal, and manning Jeff Lebby and Josh Heupel's offense at UCF.

New Knight Fan

Just got a text from a coworker. She said her 13 year old son wants a UCF sweatshirt for Christmas. They have no affiliation to UCF and they live in the Tampa Bay Area! She asked me about fanatics and I told her I have ordered from them many times, but if anybody has any recommendations of a place in Tampa/St Pete that might have some UCF sweatshirts let me know. Or a better site to order from than Fanatics.

Bounce House Weekend has produced another future Knight.

Tyler Griffin, a wide receiver from Southeast Bulloch High School in Brooklet, Ga., committed to UCF on Friday just days after his official visit.

"I'm excited to be a UCF commitment," Griffin said. "The visit last weekend was a lot of fun. I got along with the players real well. Everything was good."

He spoke to the coaches, including head coach Gus Malzahn, late Friday afternoon to make everything official.

"They were real happy about it," Griffin said.

Griffin was recruited by co-offensive coordinator G.J. Kinne with an assist from quarterback commit Thomas Castellanos, who is also from South Georgia.

"Thomas is real excited about it," Griffin said. "He was always texting me about UCF letting me know how good of a school it was."

His finalists list also included Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia and Virginia Tech. He had visited GT unofficially earlier this month.

Griffin was the second player to commit to UCF on Friday, joining defensive lineman Jamaal Johnson. Those two join offensive tackle Miguel Maldonado and Castellanos, both of whom committed in March.

"I had a great time with all the recruits last week," Griffin said. "That was probably my favorite part about the visit."

He said he also connected well with the current team. His player host was wide receiver Jaylon Griffin.

Standing tall at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, Griffin provides UCF a big-bodied receiver that could make an impact early.

"UCF likes how I can beat the corner one-on-one," Griffin said. "I can't wait to get there and hopefully have a great first season."

Looking ahead to new rivalries

Who do you want to see us develop a rivalry with and why?

For me it’s BYU. I feel like UCF represents everything they hate. The partying, the diversity, the hot women that do more than soak. We are the anti-BYU.

I cannot wait to see the signs in the stands when we play them. I just wonder what they will title that game? Miami and ND had the convicts vs the Catholics. This game has that potential. Cannot wait!
