We gashed them on the run for over 6 per carry. We ran it 18 times and dropped back to pass 38 times.

JRP also came in for 2 pt conversion. A hurt guy doesn’t do that.

That loss to Navy was tough to handle but I felt it coming. I don't think the loss to Navy was a QB problem. It was an O-line problem. Not many holes to run through and very little to no time for the QB to throw. We are close to having a great team but still not there. I hope we can recruit bigger and faster players in the Big12 as well as the transfer portal.

It felt like their opening drive really got in our heads. At least it did mine. It felt like we were only going to get a couple possessions per half and that running the ball was just killing more clock and ensuring fewer possessions. The game went exactly how Navy would have scripted it for the second year in a row. Really frustrating.

Bend but don’t break killed us. Offense not scoring was worse though. Even if we only had ball 5 times in the game we had to score. Throwing to try to get more possessions is dumb. If you score you force them to go faster. Not scoring allowed them to just hold the ball. Bad strategy again.

I also wondered why Harvey wasn't getting the ball more. He didn't look as quick as he usually does and I was questioning if he wasn't at 100 percent.

There's no reason to fire Gus. We're lucky to have him.
