Delicious Bull Tears Mega Thread

Wow! That is some seriously poor sentence structure/grammar. But I’m still surprised that this poster doesn’t “get it”. 😉
O’Learys influence on getting the OCS will probably be his one true endearing legacy. It is typically the first thing mentioned when discussing UCF’s rapid rise over the last 15 years.
Given the lack of curb appeal of their campus, he may be right that staying away is better ;)

One particular myopic idiot today thinks they will win their first 4 road games......

The small problem?

@ Florida
@ Louisville
@ Cinci
@ Houston

They sure have a special kind of lunacy......LOL

For a program so completely and utterly left out of any expansion talks whatsoever, USF sure spends a lot of time opining about that subject over on that site.

If they do, they will be ranked #2 for that one week.

And nearly 2,500 pages over a 10 year period.....true to their myopia and laziness, talk about actual on the field performance is limited to 3-4 pages before they die out from disinterest.

Im willing to bet that the blue hairs in boca complain about the ungodly noise on game days. Pretty sure average age of population there is 94.
Pretty sure your wrong. But OK. We do have a large snow bird population but most of them aren't here for most of football season. My neighborhood is pretty typical and most of the older people are moving out or dying off and a lot of young families are moving in. Also FAU stadium is not as close to residential as UCFs so not really a lot of complaints about it. Of course the fact that they have no fans probably helps keep the complaints down as well. As I have said in other threads, Boca is basically a suburb for Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm, it really shouldn't be considered a city to itself. Although we do still have some pretty decent size employers, Office Depot, ADT, Lexus Nexus, Geo Group, Campus Management still some IBM although no where near what it was. They are building expensive Condos like crazy though so I guess that is something.

Lol I surprised how down you are regarding USF. Things are finally heading up for us so hopefully we will see it on the field. MK was one of the top executives in the ACC. He is Mr ACC imo. I’m sure USF is one of the top candidates to join ACC once they lose FSU.
In addition, our academics are significantly higher than UCF's. This would be a major factor of consideration with the ACC.

I guess they have to say something to make themselves feel good about themselves. True or not, how high on the priority list is academics when deciding on who to invite to join an athletic conference?

I always remember the big reason given in an interview in why they took Louisville in last expansion was that the university put major $$$$ into their programs, in fact, yearly, spent more than most of the ACC members did at the time.

"We have Mr. ACC so we are good as in."
Some keyboard moron over there thinks the ACC will be adding members, but he thinks usf is better suited for that league than any B12 team.

I swear they must all have those mirrors at their single-wides that show them as handsome millionaire players with 8 pack abs and a degree from Ohio St not lowly stinky usf grads with bad complexions working at a fast food place. Mirror, mirror on the wall......

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you, Bull Daly ...

"Think the writing is on the wall that FSU & Clemson will be heading to SEC whenever they are free. So if ACC is looking longterm they will go with MK’s USF Bulls to keep two Florida schools. Im sure the Big 12 is scrambling around and are probably gonna try to invite USF before the ACC invites us so we are in kind of a tug of war."

The ka-ka-KRAZIEST of them all!

No autographs please.

0-4…to be the best you have to play the best…and keep losing every single one of these type of games. All road games are tough. Road games against good to very good teams is even harder. The Swamp is a hard place for OOC teams to go to and win.

Hey guys,

sane usf fan here. First congratulations on moving to the big 12. You guys earned it by building facilities and winning on the field. We were pretty good in the 2000’s until about 2011. Then the wheels fell off. We were bad in 2012,2013,2014. Good in 2015,2016, and 2017, and got lucky to get to a bowl game in 2018. We were bad in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Those are the facts. We invested a $180 million in olympic sports facility upgrades about 10 years ago. But until 2021, the only thing we had ever done for football was build practice fields back around 10 years ago as well. Nothing since. We just spent $3.3 million on locker room upgrades for practice on campus, and our $22 million dollar IPF ($27 million dollar to date with some wiggle room) will be completed by september. My understanding is we have raised at least $30 million in private donations for the ocs so far. Our budget for our ocs is $350 million with about $60-$70 million of that will be for our football operations center as well. So our stadium will cost around $280ish million to build. We still dont know if interest is included in that or if that is seperate from the cost. We do know our admin, president, and BOT have given the green loght to have it built by 2026. They are moving as fast as they can and we will select the firm to build it by spetber 6th of this fall. With all that said, none of it means anything if we dont win on the field. We have never won anything on the firld minus some big games and some bowl games. Any normal isf fan will tell you we hope to win 6 games this year snd go to a bowl game, but we really have no clue if we are any good. We have lots of unproven transfers, two new cordinators coming off a 2-10 season last year. We just hope one day we are good enough to get the call up to a big confrence and go back to playing you guys yearly again. Most of is agree the tivalvry between icf and isf could become hige in cfb given the proper platform and exposure. Again congrats to you guys for getting the call up. You guys earned it and deserve it.

Thanks for the post I know this thread is a little harsh on USF. Nothing against USF fans, most of this revolves around the time several years ago (BIG EAST DAYS) USF administration did everything to keep UCF down. At the end of the day my biggest concern is about the division of G4 - P5 in college football. At this point appears that several deserving teams are going to be left out. The playoff system or invitational is also a joke. Now the PAC and the ACC is going to pay the price for voting the expansion down. Playoff expansion would have helped a lot of teams that will be left behind including teams in the PAC and the ACC.

Wasn't Mr. ACC on the sidelines of the Clemson bowl game? He's just waiting for his next opportunity to get out of CUSA 2.0
I think his wife made him go back and beg for an analyst, water boy, towel boy, anything job and they turned him down. Rumor is she hates the Temple Terrace hellhole. She’s southern, surrounded by rednecks and white trash who think they are the same. Can’t think of anything worse than living in Trampa and dealing with this broke, delusional fanbase, or what’s left of them. I actually feel bad for that family.

Are you kidding me? It’s EVERYTHING against usf fans, kind of the whole point of this thread actually, to revel in their misery and delusion. They are a hilarious group of fans, always have been. They have had an elitist attitude without anything to be elitist about, they are a more uninformed UF fan without the results. They are reaping what they have sown, karma if you will. I love that they will be stuck in the lower divisions, playing Rice and North Texas in front of a home crowd of no one, with no one watching it either on their future media partner Crackle+.

They are left behind now and it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving and worse administration and fanbase.

Not really, they have deserved every comment. An example is the way they brag about how much better their academics are than ours. We know they are rated a few places higher than ours, but really we are close.

But look at the post made by the sane usf fan....it’s barely readable, not the product of a “highly rated” university.

And of course most of us will take exception that the usf football program has ever been good. Did they beat up on us when they were in a better conference with WAY more resources? Yes they did, but did that lead to conference championships....not a single one. And since we have shared a conference? Still no titles, not even a single championship game appearance.

Along the Academics line, another reasonably sane person posted this in their realignment thread yesterday and was not responded to....not once. They just jumped right back on their belief that there is a "tug of war" going on between P5 conferences to get ahold of USF.

"I know that our academics are decent, but we are nowhere close to being an academic powerhouse. Where does this academics narrative come from?

Our only chance on moving up is with athletics and winning a lot."

And that Bull Daly guy.....I can't determine if he is just trying to get a rise out of people, is challenged mentally or if he is constantly inebriated....

No surprise that they are ignoring a realistic take, it doesn’t fit their fake narrative.

It’s getting soooo desperate and pathetic over there now lol…

USF could also tell the ACC for the first ____ years in the conference we'll take 20 million a year in tv revenue. The remaining 30 mill can go to Clemson/FSU/UNC to keep them happy.

-USF gets more relevant opponents so more revenue and relevance in the Tampa area

-USF gets more TV revenue than in the AAC

-ACC gets a bunch of extra games in Tampa each year. That plus FSU & Miami will really tilt the state towards being more ACC than SEC focused. Also helps recruiting.

-ACC can give more money to their big brands to keep them happy

Does anyone know the answer to this, is the usf indoor practice facility a full 100 yards? When looking at pictures of construction (which heard won't be completed until after their season starts), someone commented on here that it didn't look very tall and thus eliminated proper punting inside their ipf...also with the ipf at UM now finished, no one outside the need to know at UM, had realized that was only a 70 yard thus causing a concern or critique of that, so anyone know is it 100 yards?
Looks like 100 yards to me. I also read where someone said it's short but in pictures it looks very similar to ours. Same steel/aluminum construction just with a little lobby and some brick thrown on it.

I posted in another thread that it is 70 yards so they could practice moving the ball between the 20's then not scoring.

If it's too short for proper punting practice, that shouldn't be too much of a concern. Their punter will get plenty of practice/reps their first game against BYU.

I bullieve we can win the whole dang thing this year!!!! Most returning starters in the country, most returning O-line starts returning in the country, solid and talented depth and potential in the QB area, very underrated talent at wr, rbs depth is stupid, very solid secondary with talented transfers coming in, lbs solid, the key will be how well the DL transfers can contribute immediately, certainly talented enough….i will not apologize, i have never felt more confident that we are ready to make noise and surprise everyone…..go ahead and mark this post.
