Delicious Bull Tears Mega Thread

There’s so much nonsense going on in their “conference realignment” thread over there, too much to post. It’s been a sad state of affairs honestly, a mix of new ppl and the continued crazy delusion as well as some of their most loyal coming to the realization that they are F*d.

Reality will be setting in once this round of realignment happens leaving further separation between G4 and P5. We wouldn't have this Nonsense if college football had the same playoff structure as college basketball. For that reason all the fans are losers I wonder if the G4 conference will eventually go to their own playoff system. It would be more interesting than the invitational each year.

I was against the G5 breaking away and doing their own playoff but after all the changes and where it is heading, that’s probably the best avenue. Even if we never moved up, or even if where we are would still leave us out of the “Big 2” (hate that term more than “P5”) doing their own playoff, I’d like to see that. I hate where all this is going, even if we are fortunate to be on the inside at the big table.

Apparently UConn’s new head coach Jim Mora is telling recruits they are making a push for an ACC invite. What is it about UConn that makes their coaches cray cray?

I’m definitely against the Big 2 if that’s what it turns out to be, especially if they never play anyone outside of the two conferences and every year declare themselves national champs. If that comes to be and they have raided the ACC, I could see the ACC thinking they have to have some team from Florida, and ridiculously that would probably be USF. The only thing is that certainly would not raise their football or basketball stature, and more likely lead to their being on the same playing level as the AAC and MWC. Adding UConn would do nothing to help that either.

The NCAA is the schools, right? The last lever the left out schools have is to kick the Big 2 out of the NCAA. Take away that veneer of respectability and make them truly go out on their own. Then the majority of schools can pass rules that make sense for them and not for the Big 2.

The NCAA is about to be squeezed out of college football. The Big 10 and SEC will make their own rules and one of the first changes will be the increase in scholarships. The NCAA will only be relevant in other college sports.

bulls posters sincerely thinking the ACC invite is coming any day now
They really think that and also talk like their stadium is finished and ready to move in to. I could not participate in a forum with people who aren't honest with themselves.....it would drive me nuts.

We flat out sucked in 2015 and half of 2016, including an embarrassing bowl loss. We didn't deserve a B12 call up at that point. You have to admit that to start moving forward.

Memphis is in a much better position with their stadium and currently doing a 200 million dollar renovation and they are still very concerned about being left out as stated in this article. Though all this USF believes the ACC WILL BE CALLING

No it’s the governing body. NCAA will not kick anyone out. They make money from them. It would be the schools and conferences leaving. Not other way around.

It’s the governing body but it’s made up of the schools that are members. They serve in the committees and make the rules. That’s why the schools are largely responsible for policing themselves. So, if some of them take their football and go, then the rest should kick them out for everything else too. And let them risk Congress getting involved.

If they take their ball and go they don’t have to be kicked out. They left. They all have to buy themselves out of NCAA contract as well. I don’t know how much that is but it’s probably not cheap.

I said take their football and go. Not the rest of the sports too. But even if they take all their sports, I’m going to guess they are still going to want to compete their non-revenue generating sports locally. So don’t sanction those meets and games as NCAA competition. It would be patently unfair competition anyways.

If/when the SEC & B1G leave the NCAA it will be with the full support of ESPN/FOX/other media folks. The media will make sure its extremely lucrative for all involved and the other conferences will be construed as being less competitive.

Kicking the SEC & B1G out of the NCAA is like picking a fight with a heard of silverback gorillas. No upside and you're 100% going to get killed.

Don’t leave out the “proposed” stadium!
If you propose it on paper they will come. They been proposing it for over a decade. I don't see them having a OCS by 2026. By that time the real South Florida team FAU will pass them

I had a friend who is a usf grad recently mention this. It is quite literally the only sliver of hope they have clamped onto

I wonder why they’re not including the information about their multi-million dollar media rights deal they just signed……

UCF gets a mention for a potential SEC addition. USF, not on anyone's radar. Those banging noises you hear are the sound of heads exploding to the west.

Nah man, usf is near Miami....C’mon, what school West of us would call itself South Florida?

I'll be as non-discriminatory as possible here...but their board is filled with a load of dillusional f#ck-tards who have no clue of what's transpiring on the collegiate football level at this moment.

And now blaming the media for the Jim firing. They really are out of their minds over there.
