Not necessarily. You can lose a couple abd still win. It’s not a team award.our team actually has to win to be considered for that award
Yes, because you will get many who say the system created him. He has lost to AAC teams 2 times. While this other guy lost 2 times to SEC Team and made the playoffs. Maybe Fewer numbers but his leadership in big games show he is a great Heisman candidate. Just posting what others think..our team actually has to win to be considered for that award
@UCFKnights0913 29 times a guy has won it with 2 or more losses. 1 guys team lost 8 games.Rarely does a Heisman go to some one with more than one loss.

Ok. Saying guys have won it it with 8 losses. 2 losses is not the line where you can’t win it.We play in the American...
11 guys have won it from schools not in current P5. Including Houston. 13 if you count BYU.We play in the American...

If he continues this he will 100% be in top 10 heisman disscusion
Ok well KZ has already been top 10. What’s your point? In 2016, Mahomes had 5000 yards, 41 tds, 10 ints. He was not even top 10 in Heisman votes. Didn't win the games.

Was Culpepper and Smith getting a few votes? Neither were undefeated.Milton was undefeated and ranked, that brings attention.
exactly, you have to have a news worth butt kicking team all the way around.our team actually has to win to be considered for that award
Yes, Daunte was a Heisman Finalist and attended the presentation ceremony. Was Culpepper and Smith getting a few votes? Neither were undefeated.
3 since 1960s. Last one in 1990.
Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields will get it this year.
If he keeps it up eventually so will those unbelievable stats. They just won't be able to be ignored.Milton was undefeated and ranked, that brings attention.
I agree but DG could still get into the running.Pretty much take that to the bank.

There is a Big difference between CUSA and AAC. Probably not enough but significant. KZ already proved he could be in discussion in AAC.Kevin Smith almost broke Barry Sanders's rushing record that many thought would not even be touched. He finished 2nd in all time rushing yards in a season and just by a few yards and wasn't even a top 3 finalist at the Doak Walker award!!!! Its all about brand, money, spotlight. DG is a stud and its crazy he's only a soph.
Sorry if I wasn't clear, I was talking about DG not Milton.I agree but DG could still get into the running.
No doubt he is behind the 8 ball and it will be a struggle.Correct it has to happen against Cincinnati. Joe Burrow had nearly 400 yards passing, 3 tds , 60 yards rushing at Alabama in a win. Baker Mayfield had nearly 400 yards passing 3 tds, at Ohio State in a win. He doesn't have that moment where he rose up in a big game.
On the flip side Joe Burrow or Baker Mayfield didn't have as weak of a game as Gabriel had at home against Tusla. Scoring only 26 points at home against Tulsa, 1 td 1 int.
Of course that is to win it, but he is already behind the 8 ball because he is in a G5 conference, so I think those performances are the minimum for G5 player to really be recognized.
They have a say?got a vote in the ESPN Heisman voting. If he keeps it up he should be getting some attention heading into the Cincy game.
ok so 29 out of 85 times someone had 2 or more, to me 1/3 of the time is pretty rare.@UCFKnights0913 29 times a guy has won it with 2 or more losses. 1 guys team lost 8 games.
