Fire Gus

Could have used that last timeout, but once again for the 100th time in the last four years, a Gus team substituted on offense and allowed the defense to substitute slowly jogging off the field (forcing them to call a TO in the 3rd Q by the goal line).

I swear to god, I just don’t get it. Every single time, he screams at the refs and points to the other sideline when it’s HIS fault he substituted. He just doesn’t understand the concept/rule!? Insanity, never learns his lesson; never changes his thought process.

self inflicted, it is very painful to watch after so many years of being able to run a no huddle spread offense that could go 3,4,5. plays in a row.

Then we wonder why a KOR doesn’t know the rules either. No attention to detail. No one is explaining situations and what we are trying to do when running certain plays. They just run their routes and have no idea what the route us trying to do.

Some coaches are smart, some are lucky, and others are both. Gus is lucky (only) and that is obviously and quickly wearing off.

If guys from CBS Sports are talking about it, is it pretty much turning into an open secret that Gus is looking at retirement?

I never root for my team to lose…never. However, UCF fans will be much better off with Malzone losing one or both of the remaining games and forcing his firing ASAP.

Nothing but more de-commits will happen by keeping Malzone around…make the deal and get him out.
