And we still dont.for how political every thread in here turns. no one wants to talk about the possible fl amendments...
i understand why our friends from nebraska wouldnt reply. i know youre up in indiana so obviously doesnt apply to you either. maybe you could just sit this one out.And we still dont.
They had the chance to reply and they opted not to.i understand why our friends from nebraska wouldnt reply. i know youre up in indiana so obviously doesnt apply to you either. maybe you could just sit this one out.
theres a good number of people still here in the state that might want to give their take on the laundry list of amendments. i understand that several have now been removed so thats a good thing.
And we still dont.
Ill be voting no on 3. Things like legal gambling in FL shouldn’t be left to a vote that requires 60% to pass. It’s almost impossible for that to happen.
Which is why Disney and the Seminole Tribe are pushing so hard for a yes vote. They want to keep their monopolies on gambling and dollars spent on possible entertainment.
i wish they would remove the vaping indoors thing though. that should possibly be a law, not an amendment.Voting Yes on 9

consider amendment 5. it caps taxes. thats the only one i will vote yes on.I, too, vote against all amendments—even those that might improve people’s lives. I don’t trust the gubment to improve people’s lives at all.
I’d love to know how many people just voted yes on the amendments and had no idea what they were voting for. Amendment 6 should never have passed. Most of those were already codified into law or were unnecessary and conflicting and yet now we have a constitutional provision to redundant reporting.http://www.mynews13.com/fl/orlando/...rida-amendments--the-12-issues-on-your-ballot
Florida voters approved 11 of 12 amendments to the Florida Constitution, including measures that restore voting rights to certain felons, and a ban on greyhound racing.
im really surprised almost all of them passed.
Joe you are a strange college professor, You sound Republican some times.I, too, vote against all amendments—even those that might improve people’s lives. I don’t trust the gubment to improve people’s lives at all.
people didnt realize disney and the seminole tribe are the ones that actually backed it. idiotsAs someone who wants legal sports gambling in FL, I’m beyond pissed. It’s never going to happen now. The wording that was confusing on purpose got people. But if 11-12 passed it sounds like 100% people didn’t know what they were voting for.
