Yes I'm sure that's the reason. You can ask a dozen other teams why they don't schedule P5 teams for all their out of conference slots. You can bring that up and I'll remind you of 0-12, loss to furman, forever in the G5, Florida with 3 national titles, Florida in the P5, Florida with Heisman winners, Florida with the resources to return to an elite level, UCF never having an elite level, UCF's goal is to get a conference invite while Florida's is to win a national title and so on and so on

UT fan does not see that they will eventually have to choose from a group of programs, none of which contribute what he is seeking, but the B12 will have to choose among them just the same. UCF is as good, if not better, than any program they will have to choose from. It may be upsetting that nobody good wants to join their club, but if they are smart they will look to see what program has the most potential growth.
Gator fan is the usual obnoxious Gator fan who internally is threatened by the potential of another Florida school in a P5 conference to compete for Florida resources. So his response is not to encourage the idea of UCF in the B12, but to put down UCF and diminish the considerable accomplishments that UCF has been able to make given the limited resources available to it. He will act like UCF fans think they are entitled to something rather than having earned it. Despite the fact that UCF fans are really comparing themselves not to UF or UT, but to the choice of other G5 programs he will beat his chest and ask how many national championships UCF has. He will intentionally overlook all of the handicaps UCF has and advantages that P5 programs are born into.

Never in a million years. And a bandwagon, Johnny Come Lately, Wal-Mart T-Shirt fan of an established team like you and UT4Texas would never understand...but I'll tell you anyway.
Myself and other UCF fans have had a chance to be a part of UCF's growth from a Div 2 team, to the first team to make the playoffs in their first year of Div 1-AA play, to the youngest football program ever to win a BCS bowl game.
Our growth is nowhere near complete, and that's why losers like you come around here trying to put down little old UCF. Because you are threatened by our growth and our potential. Ten years ago, UCF was in third place in our own market, behind UF, FSU and Miami in terms of Orlando area fans. Now we have passed Miami and FSU and are about even with your beloved Gaytors, despite the fact that UF had a 100 year head start on producing Alumni and fans and despite the built in advantage of BCS/P5 membership that is based entirely on circumstances rather than merit.
UCF will soon outnumber UF fans in Orlando. If we are successful, even as a G5 team, that will happen in less than 10 years. I we are successful and get the chance to move up to a P5 conference, it will happen in five years. You will obviously choose to bury your head in the sand and say it will never happen. Just like Gaytor fans claimed FSU would never amount to anything, and now the Noles have just as many National Championships in football as the Gaytors do.
UCF fans are enjoying the rise. We know we are going to continue to grow and move up. If you are too insecure to face reality, don't blame us.

I was in Buffalo WIld Wings in Waterford watching Houston thump FSU. There were 2 tables of FSU fans (there were also 2 tables of Houston fans). When I was there watching UCF facing South Carolina, it was standing room only. I don't know what area you are talking about, but ratings show UCF controls Orlando now. Thanks for playing.
