Put 8 to 9 guys in the box and leave their receivers one on one. Michigan tight and and wide receiver Chesson will play in the NFL next year. They could've put up 60 or 70 if they kept throwing the ball the whole game

They had a 2-3 drives that ended on an incompletion. They DID throw the whole game. What game were you watching?

Their egos wanted them to not stop running and to keep the defense honest with play action, etc.

May be a bit of Monday morning quarterbacking though. Who knew the refs would allow holding on our rushes most every play? Or that their QB wouldn't get flustered under the first real pressure of his college career? Or that their new QB would be so on target (never an even slightly off-target throw ever unless he was rushed)? All but the open-flat left (open all day) had fairly decent coverage, better than vs. SC St.? Change any of those three, and we might be celebrating a close game or upset. In other words, Frost's game plan was for victory, not for experience.

Between Holman pulling his ass and special teams sticking their heads in their asses, we ended up looking like ass. Still, there were some (slight) positives out of the whole thing. We still gonna beat Maryland regardless.
