They are all mid majors, in the middle of nowhere, no tv market, no city nearby (besides boise...which is still boise), small alumni bases, limited funding. Thats not a problem for UCF, and with each year, we gain another 15-20k alumni who are growing support for UCF and more willing to donate.
Heck in the last 2-3 weeks we raised over 4mill just for frost basically. We are at the starting line.
Big difference, none of those schools have the infrastructure or direct access to a medium to major city directly at their finger tips.You’ve won one major bowl and string together some wins and now your the Alabama of college football. Learning to win can be hard for some...I promise it will not continue, ask all the non-p5 schools who are here today and gone tomorrow.
