It's a "Muslim Ban!"

Whatever you say, dildo. Thousands of Muslims just entered the country today alone on flights but it's a "Muslim Ban". Whatever you say.

The didlo has an agenda that must be pushed. Even if it requires absolute lies.

You're pretty damn oblivious to how fascism and racism go hand-in-hand.
One day you'll realize that those scary brown people really aren't that different from the rest of us, Heinrich.

I can guarantee you that I have more friends in the Middle East than you do. Ignorant prick

I bet you have black friends, too. AmIRight?

As I keep saying, Heinrich: keep telling yourself you aren't a scared little white boy racist. Sooner or later it might actually become true.

He needs to ax Reince Penis while he can, too. That tard stutters and talks in circles about as bad Gov. Scott.
He might be ok if he doesn't have to constantly blow out fires. Kelly Anne seems to get off on fighting with the media, eventually she'll realize that only gets internet trolls riled up and that it's going to tank his approval rating. I'm wondering what his reaction will be if he goes his first 30 day and the approval rating stays in the 30s

Aw, did the dildo watch another Anthony Bourdain and convince himself that he knows the Middle EASt now too?

I can tell how awful the next 4 years will be for you. Just look at you melting down already after 1 week.

It's so cute watching you meltdown and start calling everyone racists.

Can't you come up with an original thought in your head, Heinrich? I already made the 1 week = dumpster fire insult. You can't come back with basically the same thing.

Look, I know you believe that selling arms to future middle eastern despots gives you an upper leg on understanding their political landscape, but it doesn't make you any less of a racist. I bet there was a racist little Reaganite exactly like you selling arms to middle easterners back in the 1980's that had no idea the shitstorm he would one day be the cause of. Hopefully you sleep better at night knowing about that, Heinrich.

Oh lord.... and while you're too busy trying to keep brown people out of our country, he removes the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Director of National Intelligence, and replaces them with Steve Bannon!!!

Dumpster fire. This halfwit is going to set this country back 60 years, right back into the Cold War.

Honestly there's no point even looking at what dildo chemmie says anymore. He offers absolutely nothing beyond yelling racist. He's severely butthurt and is out to paint anyone who doesn't think like him as a racist.

In a thread where your first post is basically "I promise I'm not a racist!" and you told us about "I have middle-eastern friends!" I think calling you racist is just about the only appropriate thing to do when you want to keep brown people who are legally allowed in our country, out.

I guess you're just tired of the truth being pointed out, eh Heinrich?

Look at him. He's getting so upset that we are ignoring his piles of shit he serves up. He's desperate to get a rise out of calling everyone he disagrees with a racist.

There will be those Trump nuthuggers who shit all over this because it's Graham and McCain, but whatever:

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) released the following statement today on the President’s executive order on immigration:

“Our government has a responsibility to defend our borders, but we must do so in a way that makes us safer and upholds all that is decent and exceptional about our nation.

“It is clear from the confusion at our airports across the nation that President Trump’s executive order was not properly vetted. We are particularly concerned by reports that this order went into effect with little to no consultation with the Departments of State, Defense, Justice, and Homeland Security.

“Such a hasty process risks harmful results. We should not stop green-card holders from returning to the country they call home. We should not stop those who have served as interpreters for our military and diplomats from seeking refuge in the country they risked their lives to help. And we should not turn our backs on those refugees who have been shown through extensive vetting to pose no demonstrable threat to our nation, and who have suffered unspeakable horrors, most of them women and children.

“Ultimately, we fear this executive order will become a self-inflicted wound in the fight against terrorism. At this very moment, American troops are fighting side-by-side with our Iraqi partners to defeat ISIL. But this executive order bans Iraqi pilots from coming to military bases in Arizona to fight our common enemies. Our most important allies in the fight against ISIL are the vast majority of Muslims who reject its apocalyptic ideology of hatred. This executive order sends a signal, intended or not, that America does not want Muslims coming into our country. That is why we fear this executive order may do more to help terrorist recruitment than improve our security.”

Just remember that chemmie spent all of 2008 calling McCain a racist. As he did Romney in 2012.

85 and I don't agree on much but I will have his back on this. I remember when Trump first brought this up during the primaries and 85 went ape shit over the idea of a complete Muslim ban, which this is not. I have also seen 85 post many times about trips for work to the Middle East. Chemmie, you're nothing more than the trash hipsters I see around NYC all the time, just a bunch of talk, no action types.

The left won the cultural war and spent the better part of the last 8 years calling anyone who didn't agree with them racists, misogynists, sexists, homophobes, etc. Even Bill Maher, the biggest leftest hippie warned his audiences about the PC bullshit. They booed him and told him he was wrong. Many on the left have lost the art of the debate. It's like dealing with children.

And no, I didn't vote for Trump. But I sure as shit didn't vote for Hillary either.

Maybe if the State Department had a leader this would not have happened this way, oh wait, the democrats are still screwing with that, never mind.

Today is a sad day in the history of the United States. This is a country that is supposed to set an example for the rest of the world. We pride ourselves in our American values. We stand for equality and freedom. This is NOT what our country represents. I teach my 4 year old to treat everyone the way that he would want to be treated, regardless of religion, age, or race. It's as simple as that.

They teach them the same things, which is sad to see this.

PS. That lesson applies to suicide bombs too.

Okay, so serious question. This law was signed just as a placeholder for 60 days until something more is figured out, right?

Or is this the whole kit and kaboodle? As in we are finished with this, move on.

about my earlier point about Kelly Anne Conway and Bannon being poison that will tank him if he eventually doesn't fire them

Let's be honest though, it sends that message because you've got so many politicians and media partisans representing it as such. If they came out and said that this is a temporary measure while we get our house in order and then it is going away, then maybe people would take it as such. Let's also consider that McCain and Graham are trying to get mileage out of this while also serving the very thin secondary facade of doing the Congress's job of holding the Executive in check.

The problem is that you have a large portion of this country that doesn't have faith in the Government's ability to be effective in this. One example, the woman in the San Bernardino attack gave a non-existent address on her spousal visa application. The thought goes that, if there were even decent vetting in place, you would think this would be caught. But it wasn't until after the attacks. There is no amount of politicking that is going to give them confidence and they have a right to their feelings.

So maybe a temporary ban makes sense. Audit the system. Make improvements where you can. The US Government is absolutely horrible at working with itself, so maybe an audit can make it more efficient and effective at the same time. At the end, regardless of the alarmism coming from the left and the RINOs, you don't lose much and you might gain something very valuable from it.

You can audit the system while it is still functioning. There was no need for a temporary ban from these 7 countries, while allowing numerous others to continue to send people.

why is this day so sad. This isn't against religion, age, or race. It's against 7 countries that have proven in the past they cannot control their citizens. These are 7 countries that sponsor terrorism. These are 7 countries that our citizens go to when they want to train themselves as terrorists. What age, race, or religion is this biased against again?

Laughing at you idiots claiming this is Obama's list, not realizing there is a massive difference between automatic visa waivers, and people who have gone through a long process to actually obtain visas.

Also laughing at our resident racist jew for comparing the American government to governments ruled by religious law. You should be more offended that your fuhrer decided to sign this decree on Holocaust Remembrance Day, a direct slap in the face to your people. But at least we finally got that negro out of office, eh?
****you

Yes, and it's an order that conveniently leaves out Saudi fukcing Arabia. You know, home to 15 of 19 of the attackers from 9 fukcing 11. You know, the same event that the orange raccoon mentioned 3 fukcing times in his ban.

Saudi also has a functioning government with a strong, newly improved intelligence apparatus. If we want agents in every airport we can do it. You can't say the same about virtually any of the countries on the list. HENCE, why these countries were ALREADY PICKED OUT by the Obama Admin.

Most every country on that list is torn by war with rival faction governments that control various parts of the countries. Or they're Iran, a country that last year was named by a Federal Judge as being complicit in the support and funding of the 9/11 Hijackers.

Saudi isn't included now for the same reason it wasn't included THEN.

If what I heard yesterday is correct, the EO will be clarified to state that it does NOT ban Green Card holders, but that they can be questioned in more detail IF they travel into one of these 7 countries.

Why or how this betrays "American values", whatever that may actually be these days, I have no idea. I agree- the EO was rolled out in a horribly shitty, disorganized, chaotic way. He needs to organize with his own goddamn agencies first. But to suggest that an Admin has absolutely no right to pause the refugee program to assert it's own vetting process is nuts.

Now they're taking cues from the "community organizer who was a complete disaster in office and a terrorist sympathizer." You can't make this stuff up.

Actually it's a que from a bipartisan provision that was included and passed in a National Defense Authorization by the Republican Congress and then signed by the Obama Admin.

Thanks for playing; another swing and a miss.

Yeah yeah yeah, I get it. I don't really gaf who made the list. Barry was stupid for leaving them off as well. We have financial and security ties to the saudis. Trump has eight businesses he registered there to build a hotel. Why on earth would he put them on the list. And I never suggested that the admin had no right pause the refugee program. You're putting words in my mouth. My point is when you use 9/11 as the base alloy for your rhetoric and you do it time and time again, it looks fishy.

Dude , these lefties are so lathered up from losing they can't think straight. I'm not a Trump supporter, but I'm becoming one quickly. The left has become unhinged.

It's not really fishy at all. The list wasn't created for the purpose of including anybody/everybody that has done things to harm us. The list also wasn't created to benefit business ties of politicians. The list was created based on countries that have almost no control over their own citizens/borders/politicians/corruption. Certainly if you wanted to take a hard line you could add 20 more countries to the list.

This will be a recurring theme in the Trump presidency. Trump puts out an Executive Order, everyone loses their collective mind, and they meet in the middle. Rinse, repeat for each issue.

Even if Trump doesn't accomplish what he sets out to, the furor against him may help in getting the Presidential powers back in check and in line with what is Constitutionally allowable. That's a win for his presidency, even though he didn't intend on it.

I'm more worried about what kind of a shit show DCA is going to be next week. Hopefully these nut jobs forget what they were all upset about and go back to work.

Let me know when they start forcing Muslims to wear and arm band or start rounding them up. A temporary travel restriction is not a Muslim ban.

Really though, I'm pretty indifferent. Yeah we should probably have a little more compassion but I also want those coming into the country to be properly vetted. And if a temporary ban is what is required until we can verify the credibility of the entrance process, then that's what has to happen.

Remember, terrorist attacks can't happen in Canada. Oh wait.

Agree. If this is a temporary measure that is the beginning of larger scale immigration reform, I don't really have an issue with it. I also don't see it as racist, it's xenophobic if anything.

Look at it this way, if I'm going to make it significantly harder to get in this country. I'm not going to tell you about it while the borders are still porous. It will create a flood of people attempting to get in before the new rules go into effect.

It's the same reason an amnesty program would be so difficult to execute; you can't announce it while the borders aren't secure. You're setting yourself up for amnestying twice as many as you thought.
