I find it ironic that my chosen party is all uptight and gung ho on the abortion issue. If abortion were illegal and never happened, how many of these people turn out to be adults that society has to take care of? Prisoners? Welfare? Unemployment? Everything that conservatives detest in ideology. Also, if you vote for any politician solely on this issue, you're a fuking moron.

I was a child born to a young teenage mother in 1968 . Thank goodness abortion wasn't legal then . I was adopted and have been blessed beyond belief

When an adoption can cost greater than $30k, it's easy to make the argument that these aborted pregnancies would have ended up in depravity if born instead. Reduce the cost to adopt to be significantly less than an IVF procedure and let's see what happens to the demand to adopt. Personally, I'm pro-life except out of medical necessity, rape, and incest.
