Kind of funny it took Frosty so long to find his integrity but it was inevitable that he would have to cave under the pressure.......Just another indication of his true colors.......What I find amazing is how he keeps throwing his players under the bus....... just listen to this!

When Nebraska was great the internet and recruiting sources were at a young stage. Now if you're good in po dunk mid west you have the ability to escape the region. Not a lot of D1 talent in the area. So they have to rely on kids wanting to move to Nebraska. Not an easy task. I'm sure Nebraska is nice at times though.

Tackling was horrible in 2017 but big plays on D and offense made up for embarrassing long runs given up which should have been stopped within 10-20 yards.
I never really understood all the hype Nebraska was getting coming into the season. Until the rules of football are fundamentally changed, it will always be about the line of scrimmage. Very few teams are going to win in a P5 conference when you are playing a bunch of true and redshirt freshmen on the OL. Now next year you might see a big jump in production with some of those lineman having 2 or 3 years in the weight room. However, with Chins as your DC, the win total might not get much better.

I think everyone just loves the "fast, rebuilt success" narrative. They saw what Frost did with us and want to see it happen at a older, more storied program, like he has this magical secret formula, so they hype it up. His 2nd season with us was the really good one so they were banking on the same thing happening.
Snow is already falling in Lincoln. It's still October. 
You've got a point here. When is it that you just "want" it to happen, rather than being able to make it happen. He's got a lot of emotional tie-in with that program. Maybe he just wasn't ready for this level of expectation yet and could have used 5 or more years somewhere else honing his head coaching skills.
Part of the success was built around Milton. He is an elite level QB plus all the other offensive weapons he had. On defense he also had multiple athletes. Griffin twins come to mind.
He did recruit some of these players so I'll give him credit for that. He just can't magically duplicate the same fast success without those caliber players.

He didn't "post" it, and there is questions about whether he sent it at all. Regardless, he did something stupid and not the kind of player I want on the team but the characterizations of what he did make it sound like he's a child rapist.
IMO, he is guilty of revenge porn. The child porn charges are questionable and will probably be dismissed. If he's convicted of that, the DA is going to have to look into practically every kid that went to that high school because they all got the video.
Really not much into debating the circumstances but everything I read indicates he sent it, he is charged, the recipients are not accountable for his actions..........now he has strike 2 and has been suspended......apparently Frosty found his scruples........

I know players will run into issues but not all crimes are created equal, at the very least you would not want him part of your Program bc there is enough out there to assume that he doesn't have respect for Women. You do not want your Program getting that image

You might find that there are very few Nebraska fans that have defended Washington. The only defense has been about whether or not this is something that should be characterized as a sex crime. I know of no-one who has claimed his innocence in sending the video to the girl, although the details are in question.
Look, accusations are made all the time. You don't condemn someone for an accusation or judge them in the court of public opinion based on that. Washington showed a repeated disregard for rules and expectations which is why the accusation now has validity. He had an opportunity to show through his character that he should be given the benefit of the doubt but he failed. 1+? doesn't always equal 2. 1+1 does.
He definitely made a dumb decision. I don’t think he should face any more punishment than getting kicked off Team. Transfer to Southern Alabama and finish career. Unless he’s a Sr anyway.
Slightly off topic but a Pitt recruit at my sons high school got arrested for beating a guy up and pulling a gun on a guy in a Walmart parking lot. He may not make it up there.

That isn't a mistake. That's just believing you're above the law because you're a superstar athlete. An attitude reinforced by CSF by keeping him on the team as long as he could.
