Yeah. I tested positive a week ago last Sunday. Can't say that it's any fun.

All 3 of my daughters, 2 nephews, and 4 nieces have all gotten it. None of them had much for symptoms. 1 nephew can't run in cross country this fall because the doctor is concerned about his asthma and how this might make it worse.
So nobody under 12 can fly. Nobody with medical conditions that keep them from getting vaxxed can fly. A large percentage of black people can't fly.
If this passes, we'll end up having to bail out the airlines again because their customer base will be cut in half.
And the ironic part is that every one of those vaccinated passengers will also be required to wear a mask. Because science.
Why? Vaccines don't stop the spread, they just keep you from getting deathly ill.

It’s always a tough call for me to figure out where to get my information regarding pubic health and vaccines: from the people who research and work on this every day of their lives for a living, or Melvin, Corky, and the Hamster, who study this stuff on Facebook while they take a shit in the morning. Really a quandary for me.

In Contagion, not was the fatality rate 1,000x higher, and 10x faster, but they actually developed an intra-nasal, live, attenuated virus vaccine that sterilized.
This is the biggest problem I have with conservatives who 'react' to progressives, and vice-versa, they 'react' instead of be 'pro-active' and point out the follies with destroying civil liberties in the hope -- and quite UNrealized here -- that 'control' will 'fix things.'

I guess whoever checks the numbers didn’t put the folder with the data under the others and started the review early. When I get shop drawings, I have 28 days to review so I save them for a slow day.

These tools are way too comfortable with their perceived level of protection from the vaccine. It's that kind of cockiness that cost SCK. I don't really see much difference with the crowd on ucfsports.com to be honest. If you want to rely on just the vaccine to save your ass and ease you in to natural immunity and avoid long covid, I think that's kinda silly, but to each his/her own.

Right around 6 months seems to be that sweet spot. After that, you are running on t-cells and immune memory. Good luck keeping you and your loved ones protected on just that. I seem to remember somebody from Moderna saying that the first warning sign of ADE being a possibility is waning immunity. No idea if that will happen but it may be worth keeping it in mind.
I'm watching South African for J&J info like a hawk. They are one of the few that use it as a primary, and are keeping excellent statistics, let alone they are a slum-heavy country. The more Pfizer keeps pimping a spike protein for a 18 month old synthesized virus that is no longer dominate, the more risk we have if ADE is really a major concern.
They need to update the shots, before pimping Boosters. I'm not taking a stand either way, but the US NIH and several others were very negative in July on Pfizer pimping a 2nd 2nd shot (aka 3rd shot Booster) as the solution.
I'm just hoping the T-cell generation of the Ad vectors are helping as good as some claim. We honestly don't know at this point what the schedule and use are.

Dude, I'm just hoping whatever booster schedule comes out can hold up and doesn't cause harm. I sure hope the 2nd gen stuff can come along more quickly.
BTW, on your next jab, consider asking the tech to aspirate the needle. You DO NOT want the jab being injected into a vein and have the payload get into the bloodstream. It's meant to stay in the arm muscle. I think this is contributing to all the clotting, etc.
