You haven't taken an FDA approved covid vaccine. You took one that has an EUA, which means there are many things still unknown about it. Your scientists stuck with data from prior to the observation step in the scientific method. Ours have been diligently collecting data the entire time.
Call your local hospital and ask if you can get a vaccine from a vial that has the label "comirnaty" on it.
Just remember that the people who are wearing their masks while they are alone in their car are the ones driving public policy.

Why did it take the CDC so long to come to this realization when several scientists were saying it months earlier?
Except that they don't. The people that our medical experts are giving the most detailed classified and unclassified information about the pandemic and variants and the experts themselves aren't following much of the directives they are pushing unless the camera is on them. Which then begs the question, if the people who are the most informed and have reports directly from the experts aren't complying, how can we demonize any normal person inundated with messaging from a universe of sources that doesn't comply?
Except for a few high-profile politicians and celebrities, a majority of Americans have tried to do the right thing, publicly and privately.

I provided a link to the CDC saying that the vaccine doesn't stop you from spreading the virus. If that's true, it's a logical question to ask how your vaccination protects others.

Getting vaccinated doesn't guarantee anybody from getting it -- but it helps prevent a severe case of it. That's kind of the way vaccines work. I got my flu vaccine today. My wife and I get one every year---bizarre, Huh?
Again, when you're talking about MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of people getting the shots, there may be somebody who gets vaccinated who still gets COVID and dies from the disease. And yes, 1 in a million may suffer one of its rare side-effects. But that's called Modern Medicine.

It’s pretty sad isn’t it? The worst part is lack if informed consent. But to each his own.
