Nothing about 100,000 troops. Nothing about rounding up illegals. It specifically says they can't be a part of federal service, state militia or state defense. ICE is working to bring in some secretaries to help out.
The National Guard paragraphs are on page 3 and 4. No it doesn't list "100,000 troops" but it does request the National Guards of all border states to act as Immigration Officers "in relation to the investigation, apprehension, and detention of aliens." There are 100,000 National Guardsmen in CA, AZ, NM, NV, UT, OR, CO, OK, AR, LA, and TX.
the line you're misinterpreting has to do with excluding NG servicemen who are actively engaged in other military service. It still wants to request NG, state militia, or state defense forces from border states and states that border those border states.

Hey I mostly just lurk and rarely leave a message, but it seems a common theme throughout this thread is that a lot of you didn't start out as Trump supporters but then came around to loving him after he convinced you to hate another group, the liberals I believe for most of you. That's pretty impressive of him. Has anything like that ever happened in history before? Just wondering.
Why use the National Guard when there are surely millions, nothing short of millions, of Americans who would gladly donate their time to take part in a citizens brigade of sorts who would assist and aid in the outing and then removal of any and all illegals in their city or town?
If Trump were to call on the decent folk among the citizenry to aid and assist in the job of ridding the country of illegals then the media would have a harder time attacking him than they would if he were to use the National Guard, they would be under orders where those among the population who volunteered would be aiding the effort through enthusiastic support for his immigration policy.
Basically what it comes down to is that Trump needs to call on the decent folk, who voted for him to actively participate in pushing forth his policies that aim to improve our lot, and we need to be ready to get off their butts and move to act if and when that call is made.
The ((press)) and the leftover Obama moles embedded throughout the Government, have declared war on the president, thus, Trump will fight back, unlike other wimpy presidents of the past.

Facts like intelligence officials withholding information, fake news. Facts like Flynn broke the law, fake news. Facts like he is anti-semetic, fake news. I could go on and on but when you compare the attitude of the media to his first month compared to Obama's it's a joke. The problem the media has is they think because he doesn't speak in the old political dialect that he not up for the job. What the media still does not understand is, that was why he was elected. The news conference the other day was what many wanted, someone who speaks their mind and not worried about political correctness.
During the election process, I did like what Trump stood for but his presentation and methodology was way out of the norm so I was extremely leery of him. I don't think he ever fostered hatred of anyone so what you say is absolutely wrong, unfair and inaccurate. He has simply given a voice to what many people were thinking and believed, but because of the antipathy and hatred of the liberals and what the media, politicians and academia have been indoctrinating us with for the past 50 years, the silent majority revolted with their votes. The immediate response, typical of the left, was to immediately vilify the deplorables that voted for him. Many, many people are very sick of being called racists, haters, homophobes, xenophobes, <insert any phobia or derogatory term here> just because we don't agree with with the idealistic bullshit agenda that has been shoved down our throats for so long.
I've been a conservative all my life but have never hated liberals. I may not like their politics, idealistic political correctness, hypocrisy, hatred, oppression, racism, lies, love for big government and nanny state, hatred of Christians and Judeo-Christian religions, disdain for law and authority, need for a single world order, revisionist history, legislating from the bench, hatred of the Constitution, activist judges,...the list can go on and on, but I've never hated. I agree with fab. The hatred from the left was my catalyst to support Trump. I don't hate liberals, I just think they have their priorities backwards. The left has always hated conservatives, just look at the way Obama and Clinton spoke of us. Their hatred is only intensifying as losses keep piling up. Look no further than the way DeVos is being treated. She has been given her own US Marshall security detail. I don't ever remember that happening for any cabinet member.

I appreciate the concern, my BP is slightly high but fine. 134/85 a couple weeks ago. I've been keeping track lately because my dad has always had high BP and my step dad had a heart attack the morning of the Michigan game last year. My mom didn't appreciate me asking the nurse what channel ABC was in the hospital.
