I hope this plays out. The new commissioner just started. I hope something happens before the start of the season. A bigger better BIG12 should help with recruiting.

Well dang, I thought it was a good short-term strategy and here's someone else (who no doubt pays more attention than I do to it than I do) who thinks it's also a good long-term strategy to get it done and end competition for the #3 conference. At least 2 things against it-- 1, it ain't great being #3, but better than being forgotten, and 2 I have no idea who turdwurf is. But hey, at least something else has the same idea as I. (If you can't tell the semi-humor here, well there's no helping you) and PS. still not convinced a 'wait and see' Big 12 doesn't end up like the Big East.
