Which is totally ridiculous. The owner of chik-fil-a isn't representative of the people and isn't asking to be.
And ... he said it on a Christian radio station -- talk about
'audience'! People went so overboard that when a Chicago city councilman said he might see about banning Chick-fil-A, even the ACLU had to step-in and publicly advised him that it was a personal view on a personal radio station.
A politician doesn't fall under those same standards so they should be questioned and criticized about them. Roseanne is being held to higher account than Bush, Obama, or trump. Does that make sense?
Again, the double-standards of the US media shines through. The problem is that there are so few Conservatives in Entertainment now, that they are run out the first time they really go too far. Rosanne Barr definitely went too far, but she's hardly the first, especially against Progressives.
Hell, sometimes there's insults in assumption that comes from Hollywood and US TV constantly. But they are so
'patting each other on-the-back,' all while they are so ignorant, naive and insensitive, they insult all sorts of nationalities without even knowing it!
So when a 'racism' event in the US comes up in International media, they just 'look at the lefties' on TV and movies and go, "Yeah," not realizing it's Democratic registered voters they are talking about, and not the registered Republican voters that are being outsted.
Meryl Streep had a major attitude-fail in the EU a few months back about positive African representation in movies and media. She got all arrogant about how 'we represent you' and all sorts of things. Was it to the same level of Barr's comments? No. But it's how they act each and every day, with
out even being directly asked. And here they chronically failed -- at a
'diversity' event no less -- and it's common attitude.
