Did anyone watch this series on HBO? We just finished all eight episodes and it was terrific. Makes up for such a crappy True Detective Season 2.

I still have the finale to watch but the series has been really good thus far.

Feels like HBO's way of apologizing for True Detective 2.

I don't know if you noticed this but the judge in the trial is the crazy killer at the end of True Detective Season 1.

The scenes in the jail and the courthouse hallway are spot on terrific portrayals of what it is like to be a bottom feeding criminal lawyer. The courtroom scenes are the farthest thing from accurate I have ever seen on television.

Liked it as a whole but I was disappointed in the finale. Won't say anymore to not spoil it.

Agree with Huffy, the attorneys leaning over the witness stands doesn't happen.

I was ok with how it ended, but felt like it deserved more of a twist than it was.
