Well, I guess only one thing is for sure at this point. You might die from an experimental covid vaccine and there's no possibility of that happening to me.
There are no studies that show that the vaccine is more harmful than COVID in ANY AGE GROUP. However, @Crazyhole with no friends continues to act stupid to get attention
does anyone else find it interesting that the countries with the highest percentage of vaccinated individuals are the UAE (Arab Emirates) and Chile, at 62%? By comparison, most of Europe and Canada are around 40-55% and the US is at 49%. Is it a supply issue in other countries?

Bit of warning: "There are no studies that show" doesn't prove anything this early on when there haven't been that many studies and almost none of the younger age groups. You may be right but you may also be wrong.

I thought it was an interesting article. It demonstrates that natural immunity is at least as good as vaccination immunity. That has been in question for a while but the picture is starting to become clearer.
It’s probably as good, but it’s not permanent. You have to get COVID to get it and when it wears out, you need to get reinfected. Again and again. Does natural immunity stop all variants?
Of course you need to get reinfected. That's why it's stupid that anybody is even considering lockdowns or wearing masks after they have antibodies, vaccine or not. You restart the clock every time you are exposed to it.
Variants? Hard to say, but if the vaccine isn't designed for the variant then it won't be any more effective than natural infection immunity.

A lot of them certainly got on this page rather quickly. I think it is probably due to the market having a rough day on Monday, as the news of covid got worse, made them rethink it. But, there is also a part of me that thinks maybe they know something we dont, and understand we need to get this undercontrol sooner rather than later.

Yeah, but it most likely dropped due to covid. Obviously the market goes up and down, but if it is going down in a lot of ways based on conspiracy theories, then a lot of big time people are going to be pissed off.
What changed over the weekend that led to the drop on Monday? There didn't seem to be any breaking news that should have affected it that much.
We are having another surge, LA and Vegas are going back to masks, etc etc. I dont think a lot of big donors are going to be thrilled with the GOP if they end up losing even more money due to the GOP pandering to the crazies of the party.
Both LA and the state of Nevada are averaging less than 10 deaths per day over the last week. That's not exactly what anyone should consider a crisis level event.
Positive cases have gone up a lot in both places in the last 6 weeks or so. It isnt all about deaths. People arent as willing to get back to normal with cases increasing dramatically. And those arent the only places, Florida is having more new cases than anywhere in the country, Missouri, etc etc are all seeing surges. And Seeing as Florida is a tourist state, Vegas is a tourist town, LA has plenty of tourists, etc etc, another surge could certainly make people reschedule their trips and things of that nature.
