The worst story you will ever read

The difference is that the justice system worked swiftly for the 5 year old.

No, it didn’t. The monster who killed him has been in and out of prison, has multiple felonies, and was being charged with 2 more felonies. Our shit justice system routinely puts people who should be locked away back onto the streets. Most every story featuring a horrific murder features someone who has a long arrest record.

The justice system failed this boy.

Oh give me a break, the amount of rioting and looting that took place even after the officers were arrested makes that point 100% bullshit.

But thanks for inadvertently telling us this was a pretty clear case of who was guilty
Breonna Taylor's killers are still walking the streets.

Not nearly as cut and dried, but it doesn't seem right that nothing has happened yet.
The outrage occurs when no one goes to jail. Once a person goes to jail, the story is over unless they are acquitted.

So would you say the Floyd response was disproportionate? The cop was arrested 4 days later but the riots are still going on
The riots are in different cities and started by different groups with separate agendas.

Problem is the narrative gets set early. Michael Brown was a saint with just his hands up until the story came out and he was fighting with the officer.
Different situation, different era. The Ferguson PD was abusing it's citizens. They didn't live in the community, had disdain for the community they were serving and were basically using them as an ATM to fund their department.

Lol no. The social media mobs and the actual mobs will never let someone have their day in court and be done with it- they predetermine what happened and that’s it

see: Michael Brown. A grand jury spent 30 days and reviewed 5,000 pages of evidence and spoke to 60 witnesses and did not indict Wilson. And yet the mobs in the street right now keep using Michael Brown as some sort of proof that cops wildly shoot black people due to racism, leaving out the whole “Officer Wilson was not indicted by a grand jury” thing, or the fact that the initial people who claimed to be witnesses and pushed the social media narrative did so behind an entire lie.

Her friend shot first and the cops fired back in self defense. This is nothing like the story in the OP
The Breonna Taylor story is "nothing like" your thread OP? 🤪

Hmmm....really? At first glance, in one case we've got an innocent boy who is gunned down while playing in his front yard and in the other case, we've got an innocent young woman who is gunned down while watching TV with her boyfriend in her living room... I dunno, Crazy. They seem a lot alike to me.

But on the other hand, it's true the shooter in these two cases was of a different race and one was a cop and one wasn't and and one is in prison and the other hasn't even been charged with a crime. Also, Breonna's case doesn't support you and your right wing blog's little dog whistle ploy. So maybe you're right after all.

I have no idea what the race of the cops is/are. Its getting a little bit disturbing how you're seeing race in everything.

So you have no idea if they violated any laws but you are sure that they belong in jail. Mostly based on news reports and social media opinions. Seems like you want a return of lynch mob justice.

Better to just never hear about these things, right?
Aw, are you bothered now, Crazy?

Back on Page 1, you thought this was an awesome thread to throw on the board and opined that it sure sucks for Black Lives Matter folk and gives credence to--get this--the message of White Supremacists.

But, low and behold, once it was learned that you picked the story up from the political, right wing blog, The Blaze, your altruistic motivations for sharing this horrendous story came into question. When it was pointed out that the story shared a lot of similarities to the Breonna Taylor case that's been in the national news for months now, you suddenly get hit with amnesia and we get your laughable denial. Finally, you huff and puff that libs like me "see race" in everything!!!! Yep, it's really weird that we caught on to what you were attempting to do here, right? :)

Time to move on, Crazy. Just admit you got caught race-baiting and move over to your next troll thread.

You're all over on this. Was it OK or not ok for me to post this story that was going viral?

Yep. ;)

Going viral??? Who knew a story featured in The Blaze automatically made it go viral?
So it isn't all over the news? Whats with the hangup about the fact that theblaze reported on it? No different than HuffPo reporting on it.

You got your answer back on Page 1. I'll let FC explain it to you again:
The Blaze posts basically 0 content that doesn't have a right wing political spin.

Yet here is a story about an evil black person and it makes the site.

There actually is a pretty obvious political goal here. To stoke racism and keep showing their readers all the bad things black people do. There are so many messed up stories but only the ones involving black people get covered on The Blaze. That's not an accident.

You got your answer back on Page 1. I'll let FC explain it to you again:
So what was the motivation of HuffPo reporting on it? What was the motivation of MSNBC reporting in George Floyd?

And FC is full of it on how theblaze doesn't report on anything with a political bias to it. Heck, the #2 story on the site right now is about an eagle that tore up a drone. You guys just want to to racism in everything and tie the right to it.

You mean the kid that was threatening people with what looked like a very real gun before he tried to reach for it when the police showed up? That Tamir Rice?
Yes, the kid playing with a toy gun.

While we're talking about innocent people gunned down, how about Atatiana Jefferson? She was gunned down in her living room while playing video games with her nephew.

Of course, I should qualify it that she held a real gun at the time because she thought she heard someone outside her window. She was correct -- it was a cop who shot her dead. Apparently gun ownership to protect your family is only a 'white' thing.

You wouldn’t have known it was a toy gun when you saw it. The dispatcher never relayed it was a toy gun to the responding officers. The kid had removed the piece that identified it as a toy gun. He sure as hell was acting like it was a real gun.

The officer in the Jefferson incident was arrested within days and indicted for murder. Is there something else that you believe should’ve happened in that case?

The cop was arrested and charged with murder the next day.

Do you know how many kids play with toys guns? Have you ever played with a toy gun before? Just stop.

He was also 12yo

Wish the OP had this kind of energy for Tamir Rice

You mean the kid who was pointing an exact replica of a Glock 19 at people in public, who also removed the orange barrel indicator used to designate that’s its airsoft, in order to scare people and make them think its a real firearm?

Is that the same person you’re referencing?
