UCF MBB RPI (and power rankings)

Since January the most impressive win is a 4 point win at Memphis. Which USF did as well. A near 30 point loss in the conference tournament certainly isn't going to help things, a nit bid would be a surprise.

We could have a bid if the one bid regular season champs win their tourney. It's all about having enough at large spots to fill. Right now seven spots are filled by regular season champs that lost in their tourney, but their rpi isn't good enough for a NCAA spot.

If Memphis beats Cincy, but doesn't win tournament Memphis would be more logical choice for nit.

At 105 and with the nit rules benefitting the regular season champs of conferences losing their tourney there might not be a spot unless they dramatically move up w the win. I think ucf has more quality wins.

Nine regular season champs from one bid conferences have lost their tourney. Unfortunately the amount of NIT at large's continues to dwindle.

Doesn't look like it is going to happen folks. Too many bid stealers this year in the NIT. Not sure if we'll even be willing to entertain a CBI or CIT offer either. This might be it until the fall.
