No they weren’t. 5th that didn’t have ABC by name. But Golic Sr rarely does games. You can take him out. Jr only does MAC type games. Gilmore is actually terrible.

20 seconds left before the half 5 yards from the goal line, and we get the most uninspiring play calls and end up with a field goal. Thats the stuff that causes these one score losses. Pretty much within spitting distance of a touchdown against literally the worst team in the league and we get run, run, pass to the only receiver running a route, no touchdown. If we cant even impose our will on the cows when we want, are we surprised why Cincy and Tulsa can mount a comeback.
Yup, start up the transfer rumors. If he really wants to play it is inevitable. The whole splitting the job, when Heupel has routinely show he doesn't like that even when the situation calls for it or Gabriel sitting a year to watch Milton play is fantasy.
I think we were trying to run the clock down so a defense that just got shredded didn’t get shredded again before the half. UCF was 2/2 on red zone TDs before that and 4/5 last week with the 1 field goal at the end of the first half as time expired.
Correct, not talking about this season. Also if Milton is not ready to play for next year, he is never going to play.

DG does not have NFL caliber WRs and TEs surrounding him. the downturn is not on him, 2017 WRs don’t drop the ball this much vs Cinci & USF
now they're getting ran down on by the bulls. Theres always an excuse for why this staff fails to put games away. Keep "running the clock out", because it worked so many times before 🙄
some of it is talent, some of it is the team reflecting the attitude of the coaching staff. Theres a reason the same guys that went 0-12 can go 13-0. Those guys believed in what the coach was teaching them. If the receivers are dropping balls then maybe Heupel isn't drilling consistency within the receiver unit. Same goes with penalties and all the other mental mistakes on any team. If you go from 5 penalties a game one year to 10 penalizes a game the next then thats on the Head Coach. NFL "talent" is a lot of measurables and physical gifts, catching a ball right in your hands doesn't take all world talent, it takes attention to detail within the program.

Nope. Defense sucks. Mostly because of immaturity. Offense is top 10 in nation.
True but Recruiting is the lifeblood & it’s clear it seems like the talent level is dropping. Just hope we don’t waste an amazing QB talent like DG for Boca Bowls
You guys know if Clemson and Bama and OSU had our defense they’d have 3 or 4 losses every year?
I agree, doesn't change any of what I said. Recruit guys who can do the job, inspire their play on the field. A failure of either one of those is on the coach.

pointless at this point because his contract is up after this season. you should be hoping we don't bring him back.
