VA Governor goes to bat for infanticide

Yeah. Every senator should be on record affirming that they are against murder. We now have 1 who is not.

That's the hilarious thing here. FC insists over and over that "none of this is going to happen!" even though NY already passed laws that he insisted wouldn't happen, and we have a sitting Governor on record supporting infanticide.

If it's soooooooooo evident that everyone opposed killing newborns then why in God's name would Patty Murray object and not simply vote yes?

A senator's job is to pass new laws. Not to reaffirm their moral standing by voting to again pass laws that already exist. Do we need to make rape illegal again just so everyone knows that we still mean it?

Im ok with having every senator affirming that they are against rape.

Why wouldn't she vote yes to a law that is already on the books? It's even called almost the exact same thing.

When prominent members of one party, who have the power to pass and sign laws, are calling for laws that either skirt the line on infanticide or outright endorse it, a reaffirmed law from the Senate is necessary.

It's unfortunate Patty Murray voted "no" on defending the rights of newborns.

Republicans control the Senate you should be outraged if Mitch McConnell doesn't bring this to vote immediately.

I'm sure he finds this just as important as you do.
