Beyond that Apple is paying every employee at least a $2,500 stock based bonus.
Apple also announced that it will increase it's Domestic Manufacturing fund from $1B annually to $5B annually. Meaning they source more from America.
Only sour, hardened, and defeatist socialists could look at news like this and still whine about what the tax cuts are doing for American industry.

Disney is using the money as a carrot ($1,000 bonus) to get employees to take a contract that was already rejected. At least with the tax savings they lowered the ticket prices...

It's not chump change but it's a pretty douchey move by Disney. $1 more an hour is nearly $2000 more a year. I'd prefer to have the $2K extra a year over a one time payment of $1000.
What are you talking about? Disney is using the $1,000 bonus to force employees to accept their offer of $0.50/hr. They know the employees making $10/hr could really use the $1,000 (which wasn’t even in Disney’s budget) and may forfeit future earning (hourly wage increase) to get it.
Since the tax cut for corporations is permanent, I am guessing Disney is planning to give the employees a $1,000 bonus every year, increase their salaries $10/hour employees or lower the ticket prices.

Remember the new hourly rate will be the baseline for the 2019 raise. If they agree, the effect gets compounded every year.
That is the problem, they have to choose between the 2: raise that they think is shitty plus 1 time bonus or hold for a better raise. I thought the idea was for companies to create jobs or pay employees better. I may be mistaken

If someone is given a bonus that is $1000 larger than last year AND given an hourly salary increase, how is that not "paying employees better"?
And who says companies aren't creating jobs? I already referenced Apple's plans to hire 30,000 new employees with $200B of repatriated money (that conveniently went ignored by all of you). There are stories like this all over the place.
And by the way- small businesses are hiring. The main engine for employment growth. NPR, a liberal mouthpiece, just yesterday ran a story on how small business optimism is at all time highs, and referenced 2 Florida based companies that are doubling their footprint and hiring more people.
