The conservatives in here have been asking for evidence of right wing violence against the left and none is ever produced where quite the opposite is true when it comes to left wing violence. I am not denying that there are people in the left that are violent. There absolutely are and I think it's disgusting. I don't condone it at all. Just the week I witnessed the left attacking the left (non-violent) and it drives me crazy.
But there is no way a sane person can think that this does not occur on both sides. The world be crazy right now, everyone is way too divided.
It doesn't seem the same. The right wing violence of the past was characterized as isolated incidents perpetrated by disgruntled people vice what seems to be occurring now. The violence from the left now is characterized with much more hate rhetoric by people who would be considered more nominal type folks vice some hate group. It also seems to be more accepted and condoned as illustrated by events such as the beheading of Trump or that play where many cheered and celebrated.
I'm sure the people who died in the past would disagree with your characterization.

I was having this conversation with a relative this morning about the violence and the left and right. He brought up Dylan Roof and I had to pause for a minute. I guess you could say he was on the right but reading the story again the kid was on a lot of drugs.

Besides the Oklahoma bomber, Tim McVay (sp), wasn't targeting left wingers, he was targeting the government in general. He didn't care if the building was full of conservatives or liberals.
The abortion killers, I haven't seen consistent news on that in forever, are religious nut jobs and weren't targeting left wingers but targeting those that inflict death to babies via abortion. I don't even know if they were conservative. They could have been lefty religious nut jobs.
