OT: Auburn's Harsin fires OC Mike Bobo

Yikes.

Auburn will need a new offensive coordinator next season.

Mike Bobo, who signed a three-year contract to join Bryan Harsin’s inaugural staff in early January, is out after just one season on the Plains, a source confirmed to AL.com.

Bobo was the lone assistant coach hired at Auburn last offseason to sign a three-year contract. The deal was worth $1.3 million annually, and Auburn will owe him the remaining $2.6 million on his contract in buyout payments, paid out over the term of the deal, which runs through Jan. 31, 2024.

UWCF rumormill is absolutely delightful

contract extension for Jeff Scott? it's just a stupid enough idea to believe they will do it

Mike Bianchi is a POS

Telling us that we can’t be mad at him and should be understanding. We’re not upset that he transferred. We’re upset because

1. He gave up on his team mid season. Even if it’sa business, you can help your team while you’re here. Transfer mid season.
2. He continued to sell his NIL to us when he knew he was leaving.
3. He is the reason we lost KZ.

As much as bianchi won’t read this, I had to get it off my chest. I hate that dg is coming off in the media as a darling in all of this.

2021 Bowl Game Projections

Really don't look forward to us playing FSU or UF this bowl season without a better offense (RB and QB).
Also, the venue is horrible.
Hope the future players get some good practice in and can enjoy the bowl experience unlike last season. Omicron is coming, oh no...

Mikey Keene vs. Timmy McClain

Both UCF and South Florida started true freshman QBs this season. This is the assessment of PFF, which I realize is not a perfect science but it's interesting to see how they rated both players.

Mikey Keene Season Grade - 64.7

Best three games: Tulane (77.1), Memphis (76.1), UConn (74.2)
Worst three games: Cincinnati (41.4), SMU (46.0), usf (62.6)

Timmy McClain Season Grade - 54.8

Best three games: Tulsa (69.2), Houston (69.0), Temple (65.7)
Worst three games: Tulane (30.2), NC State (35.8), FAMU (47.8).
