That bad. Forth down and 1. Defensive tackles on guards out side shoulders and linebackers 5 yards back. Punting 4+ times to give offense like navy's. Our defense did there job but our offence had no idea what to do. Im sick to my stomach. This really hurts.
UCF may not win another football game for quite awhile. You people criticize me for posting a fire Travis Williams thread. I take those comments back. Terry Mohajir should fire the entire football coaching staff including Gus Malzahan. No way UCF is ready for football competition in the Big-12.
This to me was the biggest piece of frustration against Navy. I understand they were loading people in the box. I understand that Navy has a top 10 rushing defense. But we're a top rushing offense. Bowser and Harvey were averaging over 6 yards a carry under these circumstances. We hardly ran the ball to the outside and only had one jet sweep. We did not play UCF football. We threw the ball 33 times (37 if you include the sacks) and only ran 20. We tried to be someone else and failed. Sometimes you have to stick to what you do best even if the other team does it well. Gus outGussed himself on this.
