There is just one official visitor this weekend: Tight end Randy Pittman. He is currently committed to Florida State, having done so in April 2021 (last year).

That being said, I know he has always liked UCF. There was a rumor circulating he was considering reopening his recruitment earlier this year, but that never happened. He has always outwardly seemed solid to FSU, so we'll see what happens. He also maintained he was solid during a visit to Tallahassee yesterday. He has not yet scheduled an OV to FSU.

OT: Finebaum Calls uf mediocre

“Alabama went through this period of 15 or 20 years when almost everything that could go wrong, did go wrong,” Finebaum said during a radio appearance on WJOX, (first transcribed by Saturday Down South). "However, it didn’t stop the fans, and Cole, you played during this era, but no matter what, you're doing a show in June and you know Alabama is going to have a losing season, or go 6-6, and you go to the phone lines and it's all of people saying ‘Alabama is going to win a national championship.’ That’s how Florida fans are. They cannot accept that they are really a mediocre program right now

OT ...Brain issues with my son

Hey Y'all,
I have had the pleasure of meeting some of you in person at games and up here in NC in my businesses. I have written about son who is a MK down there and his epilepsy but I have another boy who has had meningitis when he was 18 days old coming up on 24 years. Kyle is a multi handicap blind individual as he has almost no occipital lobe due to the infection causing a bleed in his brain.

In February Kyle had a grand mal Seizure event while he was at work with me. We told his primary and his neurologist. Last week Kyle had 3 more seizure events with everyone of them happening while he drank ice cold liquids . Yesterday we took Kyle to Asheville for a sedated MRI and got the results . There is this new development in his temporal lobe area of the brain with an encephalocele. You may ask what's that? It's like a brain hernia where cerebrospinal fluid and brain matter encased in a sac push through some soft bone areas of the skull and in Kyle's case it's the sinus area.

We are looking at neurosurgery sometime soon as it not scheduled yet along with another sedated 3D CT scans to model his bone structure and pinpoint the issue. I know I don't know many of you and Kyles story is nothing short of amazing if I told you the entire thing . I am hopeful this can be easily addressed but let's be honest it's still brain surgery and even if minor it's still significant.

I will keep you posted . Once we meet the neurologist and subsequently neurosurgeon I will have a clearer picture of what is going on and how to fix it. I am so thankful for modern medicine and the technology at doctors disposal to address stuff like this. Y'all have an amazing day.
