Interesting article from Wetzel

In relation to the playoffs debate this spring

Just like that the Pac-12 and ACC moved closer to the AAC and Mountain West than the Big Ten and SEC. And they can't blame anybody but themselves.

we'll keep hearing stories like this as head coaches' absolute power over these kids continues to erode.

Since UCF is going Big 12, what is next for our MBB?

Just finished watching our AD's interview, most of the focus you can see from him is Football, whether it is scheduling or out of conference scheduling

Big 12 is the NO.1 Basketball league in NCAA. With national championships won by Baylor and Kansas in the last two seasons.

The biggest thing for MBB is recruiting. Big 12 should help that a ton! But how it comes to fruition is still a work in progress.

Should we keep Coach JD till the transition to Big 12? Or we can make a splash hire after this upcoming season if we fail to make NCAA Tournament.

Right now, I am not seeing us competing in the Big 12 in MBB. Imaging us playing against Kansas, Baylor and Texas Tech, it is going to be ugly.

Should our Basketball program become one of the primary focus of our Athletic Department? More funding and more coaching salary?

OT: Netflix lays off another 300 employees (Update: Stock Down 70% over last 6 months)

Ouch!

Netflix Stock is down 65% for the year and 35% overnight as Netflix lost overall subscribers last quarter for first time in 10 years. (Netflix a week or two ago noted how they are trying to "crack down" on multiple user screen names when they allowed 5 devices on one account...as that number will drop hoping to secure more "freebie users" to finally pay for their own subscription).

One "unnamed show by a crew member today noted that he was on a show that was greenlighted for season 2 and was in the final stages of pre-production (all crew/talent were hired...all scouting had been done, etc...), just was pulled and shutdown at the last minute.

Maybe more shows/series will be canceled as Netflix will probably have to stop some of their bleeding.
