Delicious Bull Tears Mega Thread

So you like him giving usf the best year in a decade? They've won 4 games at their level this year. That's outstanding for them. I'd much rather he leave and they go back to 1 win v FCS team a year. They are 6th in the AAC, something that hasn't happened since 'interest' was invented.
He may be a good coach but how does he do with last year’s conference schedule? Home games vs Rice and Charlotte , the schedule is ranked in the 100s I bet

They are still a bad team, horrible defense. Offensive line is offensive, but their young QB has been decent running for his life. He’s bound to get hurt though, he runs a lot and OL lets err body through.

How is Tulane a ranked team barely beating bad AAC teams is beyond me. They had a chance beating #20 Ole Miss and they were destroyed.

Leavitt's text is proof that even the Jim understands that you cannot buy a good atmosphere. Our shitty $55M erector set metal wok rocks on gameday and in the end nobody cares what it looks like (except for maybe the guy with the broken seat). Go ahead and spend your $340M dumbasses

"except for the guy who falls through the rusted-out bleachers during zombie nation and dies after 12 days in a coma" haha

the erector set got us to the big 12 and now that it's falling apart the big 12 will get us a new stadium. beautiful how that worked out.

Hahahah. I really didn't want to say he was a good, or even decent coach. I was just the small minded "UCF grad who hates everything usf and want them to fail forever'. So small minded, I'm upset they've actually improved.

Considering how slow our progress on facilities has been the last 5 years I’ll believe it when I see it

The Lazy River has become a joke w former players

Is it really falling apart though? I have read all the structural engineering studies conducted conclude it’s just fine.
Needs some TLC this season to fix a few things. I think they check it every off season for structural stability. But I think I remember that the lifespan is like 30-40 years, which quite frankly is more than many stadiums remain nowadays

So what, there's at outside hint that we could maybe have a 2nd on campus stadium before usf even has 1?

It would be terrible if we got one that didn't bounce and killed something fantastic. Would be hilarious if it was forced into the contract that the new one must be able to bounce.

They’ll have to do maintenance every year at this point in the life of the stadium regardless of how it was built. There will come decisions on fixing vs replacing components and the tower is the first to go it seems. Hopefully with a new source of revenue they develop a master plan for the facility that will guide those decisions going forward.

If they win this week they are bowl eligible, what a great accomplishment for them considering their past seasons, right? It would be hilarious if their big prize was having to play somebody (possibly us) in the Cure Bowl at our stadium that they hate. So I’m actually rooting for them to win this weekend for that possibility.

It’s not impressive when you factor in the 3 best teams historically left and replaced by lower level teams. They would have 2 more losses in conference and not be eligible had those teams stayed.

The Big 12 doesn't have a tie-in there (from what I read), but I keep hearing this. Is there something I'm missing?
Big 12 has more teams that can get a bowl than tie ins. Even if you count CFP and NY6. Really only need 5 wins if enough teams don’t have 6 wins to fill slots. They have to go somewhere.
