I started to read Atlas Shrugged years ago, and it was by far the worst book I have ever read in my life (or started to read I think I made it about halfway). She was a terrible writer.

It wasnt even the political philosophy for me, I knew I probably wouldnt agree with her philosophy, but I dont mind reading things that I might not agree with. It was just so horribly written. It felt like a form a masochism just trying to get through each chapter.
Nope. I think that whole thing is propaganda. That gives me pause on what to believe about the whole "putin kills his enemies" thing. Both could be true, both could be false, but I'm not going to ascribe to the idea that it's true just because this guy is Russian or that guy is Republican/democrat......
Unfortunately, the truth doesn't really ever come out anymore so we are being forced to rely on emotional response and intuition. That is an equation that leads to unending conflict.
