I snatched up some cheap tickets on Ticketmaster before they got expensive once it was officially announced
Cool. I'm buying thru UCF as I'm pretty good in the season tix rankings. But, if you ain't I'd get tix quickly before it's officially-officially announced.
The opt outs is what impacted us last year against BYU. All teams have to deal with it. Opt outs seems to be getting lot more common in the bowl games. If they would swap the bowl matchups with expanded playoff games it would make the games meaningful again. I know I'm preaching to the choir.
Two sideline tix via UCF allotment for less than $70. Not bad at all.

Fan goggles off: After the USF game (second weakest opponent) I am not confident in any way that we can make this a competitive game. Our offensive line has digressed, Mikey Keene has happy feet, and our young secondary needs another year of soaking. All players need to play and or come back for another season. I cannot find anywhere on the www that we will have a player drafted. Cole Schnider's stock (our best hope) has plummeted. Struggled to find anything recent about Big Kat stating he is anything better than a late-round flyer.

I think he was implying no negative statement could really be made. Honestly after 3 years of Josh Hell what difference does it really make? It’s a lackluster season that’s part of a painful rebuilding process. At least we’re closer to being better now than when we started this season. In the meantime why not have a little fun and at least maybe possibly get a shot at seeing and defeating a program that we are going to face in the regular season fairly soon. I ultimately agree though. If we win that’s a big deal for several reasons, if we lose we really don’t lose anything because that’s what is the expectation. It’s essentially like getting a free trip to the casino (albeit a really crappy one in either Palm beach or that other place in West Central Florida.

Essentially at the end of the day opinions and speech are just about impossible to police. You can say the same in so many different ways.
As for the game I don’t think it is going to make all that much of a difference if he plays or not. UF is without a coach coming off a terrible season and playing in the Bad Credit Bowl. They are not likely to be motivated at all.
If you thought Malik Cunnigham abused our defense wait til you see Richardson. AR could go out there and call plays himself and they’ll score 40

I'm a realist but also hopeful for our guys. Regardless of what happens on the field, we have an opportunity as fans to attend en force vs the flagship school and show why we were selected P5. I hope we pack the place.
If we win, we tweet endlessly how we are the premier Florida team.
If we lose, highlight our injuries, first year coach, QB quit on his team, not motivated, FL did things we never saw before.

Having watched both teams, I would have expected the line to more heavily favor the gators in the ~12pt range.
Not saying we can’t win, but the matchup on paper seems tilted. Guess they’re docking UF some points for their coaching staff changes.
I have to keep explaining this. Vegas doesn’t try to predict score. They set opening line to try to get action on both sides. If the money is mostly on one side they give the other side points. If line doesn’t move, the action is even for both teams. The betting public determines the final line.
I get that - just saying I would have thought the initial position would have been more slanted towards UF.
So I expect the betting action to move the line towards the spread I mentioned because betting on UF seems like a slam dunk right now.
The BYU loss was more about a depleted defense playing a bunch of inexperienced freshman that could not stop BYU's offense.
Well fortunate for you, and possibly unfortunate for the program. We may get to see a lot of opportunities for Keene to demonstrate he is the superior QB.
Stupid question here but Dillon is not attending the game right? All of the portal kids are basically gone at this point in terms of Team activities? Should allow for better focus without the jokers around. Glad it wasn't in Boca, get a few more days to prep get some guys healthy.
DG will not be there. The best player on the team quit on you, you don't ever allow them to step foot back on campus.
Game isn’t at campus. I doubt DG will be banned from campus. He could attend the game for sure if he wanted. He won’t be banned from it if he wants to attend.
